The arches in Birkenstock are fabulous. The Walmart and multitude of wannabees do not have the 4 arch spots that make these so good for your feet when you break them in and they conform to your feet.
These are the best sandals. I’ve had three pairs in different colors because I love the style and they’re great for my bad feet.

It’s pretty hit and miss on finding deals. They do have other styles available. I ordered myself a pair of the Madrid style and they ended up only being $40.60! The BIRK30 promo codes works on all styles.
