Dairy Queen Dreamsicle Dipped Cones Now Available (+ How to Score One for Just 50¢)

After we heard a rumor that Dairy Queen was launching a brand new Dreamsicle Dipped Cone, we sent one of our lucky sidekicks out to verify if this was truly the case.
And as you can see from our pictures, she was indeed able to score one of these new Dreamsicle Dipped Cones at her local Dairy Queen. This cone features vanilla soft serve dipped in a sherbet-like orange-flavored ice coating.
Before you make an extra special trip to your Dairy Queen, be sure to call ahead as not all locations have this new cone available. However, it is rumored to be launching nationwide on April 1st.

We download the app last night and created an account but did NOT see any offers in the Deals & Rewards section immediately after downloading. I was able to get this on March 20 for free cone day in North Carolina.
It was offered on free cone day too by me but it is $1 extra for any dipped cone.

I thought it had a powdery after taste but my daughter liked it. My DQ doesn’t use the app but has a reward system based on visits.
I tried this a few weeks ago (its been available at our local DQ for at least a month), didn’t care for it at all. My favorite remains…. chocolate ice cream dipped in cherry 🙂
My husband just demanded we go to DQ tonight so he could get this cone. Unfortunately it was a letdown for him. He said you could hardly taste the flavor 🙁
