any crafty ideas on how to use them other than the obvious?

Bought these last year. We just had our paver sidewalk installed. We were planning on doing it ourselves but life gets in the way. It turned out great. I wish I could share a picture. These are well worth the .25 a piece. Also we ordered 4 skids and they were delivered for free.

Thanks for sharing, Sue! Good to know how nice your sidewalk turned out!

Just a comment on pavers; the concrete ones are cheaper but don’t last as long as the clay bricks. If you’re in an area where you use rock salt on the pathway, it will erode the concrete ones. (You’ll likely get 4-5 years before it’s noticeable but then they start to lose integrity and ones around the edges will begin to crumble.)

She’s right, these are temporary, we went with clay bricks, and after the first fopa, we went with clay full size. Concrete lasts 5 years best, we’re now on 11 years with clay and going strong.

Awesome for projects, just not walkways and driveways.

Concrete paver’s don’t hold up ? I have been installing them in Florida for over 30 years. All of the jobs I have installed including those at my house, some 30 years old still look great. Thanks for the morning chuckle.

Ice melt and freeze-thaw cycles cause damage to concrete and concrete pavers in places where winter happens. I worked at a Lowe’s in Upstate NY for several years.

I can’t reach all the way to the back of my flower beds without stepping into the beds. I bought a few of these pavers last year and spaced them out individually in my flower bed so I would have a place to put one foot on when leaning in to work with my plants, pull weeds, etc., in the back of the flower bed. That way, I don’t have to worry about stepping on a plant or a seed that might be about to stick its head up above the soil!
