Mark your calendars!

Starting April 22nd through May 4th, Target will be hosting their next Car Seat Trade-In Event. This is a perfect opportunity to get rid of your expired, wrecked, or no longer needed car seats.

Even better, when you donate your old car seat, you’ll score a 20% off coupon to use on new baby gear valid through May 11th! For more information, head over to Target’s website.

Save on your next baby gear purchase!

Your 20% off coupon can be used on a new car seat, booster seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby gear and will be valid both in-store or at Note that this offer also includes select play yards, highchairs, swings, rockers & bouncers.

If you are not needing a new car seat, you can trade in your old one and utilize the 20% off coupon for a nice baby shower gift.

Pair your coupon with baby gear sales for even bigger savings!

Where do all those car seats go?

Target teams up with Waste Management who will recycle the parts to create new products such as pallets, plastic buckets and construction materials including steel beams and carpet padding.

If I donated 3 car seats, would I get 3 coupons? Ours are expired and uncomfortable and I’d like to get new ones for my kiddos.

Great question, I did speak with customer service and they suggested that you check with your location to be sure on how they might honor that. You may need to trade each one in, individually. Hoping that helps!

I turned in two last year and got two coupons 🙂

      Thank you!

Were you able to stack the coupons on your purchase?

Im expecting twins but don’t have an old carseat to exchange. Is there a way to get the 20% off coupon without any exchange? Extra percentage off will surely come in handy!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Aww, congratulations! For this it looks like you will need to turn one in, to grab the offer. Hope that helps!

Could this deal be combined with $50 off $150 redcard deal? Will the redcard add the additional 5%?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! When checking with customer service, they did say those should combine. Hope that helps!
