Feedback on the Chaco? I want to get my wife some for she wants some for the water park? There is a lot of different versions so no sure which one is best?
These are a great sandal-super comfy, but I wouldn’t recommend for the pool since the straps are fabric. I wear my iquishion fit flops to the pool and they work great https://www.fitflop.com/us/en/shop/iqushion-ergonomic-flip-flops-p-J80#716
The best is to let your wife choose, no men should be involved in such decisions
Very inappropriate comment and adds no value.
I love these but it really depends on how they will be used and how they fit! They are super comfortable and easily adjustable but they are a rugged pair of sandals. Not a fashion statement but I often wear them doing most things. I hike – shorter hikes or stream crossings or just when wet out. Or I carry them to change into. I use them to kayak and do other water sports. However the straps are fabric and I find when they are wet and sand/dirt get under the straps they will rub. For instance, they do not perfectly transition from a wet steam to a dusty/ gritty hiking path. The dirt gets stuck on the fabric and can begin to create hit spots. Perhaps other sandals also behave this way? I wouldn’t hike in any other sandal thu. These are rugged and beefy, a stiffer thick sole, your toes are back from the edge so you don’t stub a toe and all the straps are adjustable. But these should be tried on. There are a ton of versions. I prefer these which hold my big toe especially for walking down steep inclines cause it keeps my toes back. My son prefers not to have that strap. You got to go with what is comfortable or you won’t wear them!
I wear mine in the pool, river, Lake. There amazing Sandels !! You won’t be disappointed 😊
Chaco a have a very high arch so if she doesn’t, they may not feel very good. I like the one with the strap in the back but to slip on and off at the water park, that might be inconvenient.
