Does anyone have any opinions on what the best type of stain or brand to use for a cedar deck? My husband sealed our deck last year and it turned out like a basketball court lol
I used the cabot with timber oil in it on our cedar deck and it turned out beautiful!! It was the honey teak color. I wish I could post a picture. This was last fall so I cant vouch for its durability quite yet. The lowes employee highly recommended it as well.
I used this semi transparent stain and was happy with the quality. I really prefer the more natural colors for durability than the semi transparent stain. Hope this helps!
I used this last year on a new cedar siding building. It absorbs quickly and repels water. I see no changes in it since applying it. I picked it because it has linseed oil which is a great natural preservative. I’m going back for more for to do my 100 yr old house now. I plan on doing a side at a time (by myself). This price is amazing.
