Collin holding large Charmin Forever Rolls

Collin just received her Charmin Forever Roll Starter Kit. How long do you think one roll will last in her house?

My hubby and kids apparently have no clue that they need to replace an empty toilet paper roll. I am excited to only need to change out the roll potentially just once a month and eliminate the brown empty roll staring back in my face! – Collin

Wow that roll is huge. I think people may use more tissue since the roll is so big.

  2. je

We got ours over the weekend and it’s pretty comical. My daughter brought it upon herself to put a sign up that says, “don’t use too much” because it’s such thick TP.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

lol I love that your daughter made a sign – too funny!! 🀣

  3. GAmommyof4

It looks like an industrial roll to me. I don’t want my house to look like a commercial restroom. Just my opinion…

    • llc

I agree. Looks like u stole a commercial roll.

      • Joe

        lmao

  4. Lisa

We got ours last week. I was shocked by how soft it is and it has already gotten some laughs from guests. I am excited to see how long it last. With 2 girls in house my husbands thinks they eat the toilet paper.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      lol Too funny! πŸ˜‚

    • Gisette

My husband says the same thing about me 🀣🀣🀣

      • Erin

That’s what I say about MY husband! πŸ˜‚

  5. Cherdh

Ours arrived…..well, it’s big! I’m shocked how soft the paper really is; but I opted for the wall mount and am trying to figure out how to disguise this beast!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Good luck!! πŸ™Œ 🀣

  6. 4sproles

    Hilarious!

  7. Kristy

Wow. Try putting this in a cramped guest bathroom

  8. Gretal

I cannot stop laughing at this. I could never have it in my own home because of that.

  9. Paul

It looks like a novelty roll, from a joke shop.

  10. Janet

One week gone in my house for sure πŸ™„

    • Joe

      lol rip

  11. barb

Oh my gosh too funny!! It looks tempting, my kids eat toilet paper! Haha, I can’t wait to hear your review in a few months, you guys always post the funniest things!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I was cracking up when I opened the box. It really is the LARGEST roll I’ve ever seen! 🀣

  12. shar

Looks like a nightmare if you’ve got toddlers πŸ™‚

    • jimk

      Toddlers or 🐈 cats lol

    • TWood

Toddler girl would unroll it during one of mommy showers, for sure! Lol πŸ˜‚

  13. Sharon

Scott single ply is my preference. No interest here.

    • Melissa

I wish that scott would come up with one of thisπŸ˜€

  14. SueMP

My bathroom is the size of a very small walk-in closet – this would never even fit anywhere in that bathroom. Interesting concept, but I agree with others – it looks like you ripped it off from a commercial bathroom somewhere.. No thanks.

  15. Donna

I received mine last week. Decided to put it in my master bathroom. At least I won’t have to change this monster roll for quite a while. We did get some laughs when it arrived.

  16. Suzanne H

I just bought this as a joke Father’s Day gift for my husband. I always tease him about replacing the roll!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, I can relate to that! πŸ˜‰

    • Melanie

This is a fantastic Father’s day gift idea! πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‚πŸ€£β€οΈ

  17. Lydmonster

I LOVE mine! So far it doesn’t seem like the roll has gone down and I have had it for 4 days… but it’s just me using it. My husband doesn’t use “my” bathroom! Yay me!

    • Gisette

You have your own bathroom??? Lucky!!

  18. Jo P Scobey

I just got this and LOVE it! At first I thought it was a joke. Then I got it and thought, “Where am I going to put this?” Now it is in place and the best toilet paper I have ever used. I’m considering buying 2 more sets for my other bathrooms!

  19. Peaches

I got mine last week and opted for the wall mount. While it takes a bit of getting used to, it’s actually quite nice. We limit each “wipe” to no more than 5 squares as that is a good handful and with that rule of thumb it just might last a month!

  20. Tammy

I got mine last week, so far I like it. It is funny looking since its sooo big.

  21. Chicagomom

Oh my gosh you have got to be kidding!!! Not sure I would want one of those in my bathroom :/

  22. Tracey

All I could think about was an episode of Shameless where a couple of the characters were stealing giant TP rolls like this!! I can see people thinking you snuck some from the janitor’s closet at work or something hahaha!

  23. Kayla

Please keep us updated on how long it lasts!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Will do πŸ˜‰

  24. Deanna

    Wow, that’s so big!!!!

  25. Jodi P

That giant sponge is going to be absorbing all the airborne germs and pathogens from flushing the toilet….for an entire month. Not everyone bothers to shut the lid when flushing. I imagine some of it will unroll onto the floor, and get rolled back up, too. No thanks.

    • Nikki

      Ew good point!

  26. E

My diaper-wearing toddler would love it. Love unrolling it, that is! πŸ˜‚

  27. Robin

Don’t let your frisky cat loose in the bathroom! The outcome might make a good upload for America’s Funniest Videos.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! My cat use to do that when she was younger! UGH! So frustrating! She leaves the toilet paper alone now that she’s older! Thank goodness!

  28. Elizabeth

1700 sheets? My guess is this would last 3-4 days max at my house. And that guess is even being generous, lol. We have a family of 6….my husband is the only guy. We also homeschool. No way this is going last a month with 5 of us home all day every day. We go through a roll of Scott 1000 sheets a day. It is funny, though! Would make a great gag gift! πŸ˜‚

    • Jodi P

For a large family, you/re actually not using much toilet paper with just one roll of Scott per day! I don’t know if I should congratulate you, or suggest you all see a doctor, LOL πŸ˜‰

      • niki

I disagree Jodi! We homeschool, similar family size, hubby works from home and we use 2 Scott rolls per week.

      • Elizabeth

Jodi-it’s more depending on times of the month. My girls are all teens and preteens. Enough said lol.

  29. CJJ

Good concept but I’m picturing someone coming out of that shower and dripping all over it! (Or our my kids the only shower droppers?!?)

    • Linda

That was my thought as well. A little accidental water spill and there goes the roll. And heaven forbid if the roll gets bent and you have to thud thud thud the roll for the rest of the month.

  30. Jennifer

After reading all the comments, I’m not as against this as I thought I would be.

    • Lisa

Charmin is not good if you have septic (I just had my septic pumped!).

      • kayti

Our septic guy said only one ply for septics. Many people would rather get it flushed every so often than to have thin tp!

  31. Paulette Kingery

isn’t that the same thing that in the gas station bathroom,,or any retail store lol…..

  32. Ashley

I’m curious, where do you normally keep your tp stand? My bathroom is very similar and I keep mine RIGHT beside the toilet. It’s location in the photo will definitely get wet, if anyone showers in that one.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

lol We basically have no good spot for a tp stand – it seems to move around often because the bathroom is so small 😬

  33. Debbie

I got mine and I just love it. Very happy!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! Glad you are loving yours, Debbie!

  34. Mel

This is awesome 🀣! All I can hear is Elaine from Seinfeld asking can you spare a square (old episode)πŸ˜‚ with this you can!

  35. CateM

LOL damn that’s alot of toilet paper!! πŸ˜€

  36. Nancy

Just ordered one. If I like it a lot when I get it, I’ll get another but definitely in my opinion, something worth trying. Thanks for showing how it looks in your bathroom so I actually had a much better visual. At least with three rolls, even if they don’t last the entire month, it will save a few trips to the store for TP and it’s something I’d have to purchase regardless. And just an FYI for everyone…I’ve run into this a lot with many different products. It says UP TO a month. Those two 2-letter words change the entire meaning. In other words, your mileage may vary. Can last UP TO a month; may not but it can. Just like I’ve seen advertising for products at various stores where it says save up to $100 off this purchase, but then when you choose the color or size or whatever it may be, you save $30 or $40; so up to means anything below that number UP TO the amount it shows. It’s one of those marketing things that you possibly can get up to that amount, but there’s no guarantee. Just thought I’d share that because it really is a YMMV situation. I still feel this huge roll, if it saves ME from having to constantly put on a new roll every day, it’ll be worth it.

  37. Annyeo

I got mine the other day but opted for the single user roll since I live alone. We’ll see. πŸ™‚

  38. aubrey

This is not that economical- it’s basically 4 rolls of Costco toilet paper/roll for $10. I have 5 kids (three are teenage girls) so we go through 1.5 packages of Costco toilet paper/month. I love how the huge roll looks though- it matches my economy size laundry detergent and my giant bags of chips.

  39. Jess

I’m just here to say how much I appreciate that your bathroom isn’t perfectly curated for this photo! Many thanks, Collin!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome, Jess! πŸ’—πŸ˜‰

  40. CGY

Ordered this back the end of April and started using it May 1. We’ve been through two of these giant multi-user rolls over the past month and 5 days and just put the 3rd roll on the stand today. So, we’ve definitely used more than the average, I guess. We have three of us using this roll. I do like not having to change out rolls as frequently, but it has definitely taken some getting used to the appearance. I have it tucked beside our master bath toilet where it’s kind of hidden from view.
