    Hmmmm, so yeaaaah..
Think ill pass on super discount hair color from dollar tree. No, not cuz im better than but because i have heard stories of incorrect colors being stamped on packages and bottles. Im a dark brunette, id end up bleaching it blonde with my luck. Theres stories on the internet of (if i rem correctly) swartkoff (or whatever) throwing wrong product away & dumpster divers then selling it. Cuz you know “if its on the internet, it must be true”! ๐Ÿคฃ not a chance im going to take..๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ณโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฑโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿคฏ

Itโ€™s probably overstock of the product sent to dollar tree or close to expiration. But Iโ€™m pretty positive itโ€™s still Lโ€™Oreal.๐Ÿ˜Š

It’s always a good idea to do a test area with hair color but these are not permanent and wash out with a few shampoos, especially if you use a clarifying or dandruff shampoo. Adding a bit of baking soda helps speed up the fading as well. I’d love to try this for Halloween, lol.

Disclosure- i was not talking about this specific product OR dollar tree specifically. I was talking random stories ive read & maybe/maybe not dollar tree. I certainly hope noone things im trying to deter anyone from these exact ones. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Its semi permanent..no ammonia or bleach. I bought some. Loreal counts them as dependable retail store and 99c only for customers

I’m not much for peach or tangerine color, but I’d like to try the blue or lilac if they have either of those at my stores. I have dark blonde/strawberry blonde hair. I think rose gold would look good too and L’Oreal has it in the Colorista line listed as hair makeup (1 day shampoo) so maybe that will show up on shelves too hopefully so I can try it.

I am soo jealous, if for no other reason, i wish i was blonde so i could do the same. Im a dark dark brunette. In order to play with cool colors id have to bleach my hair or do a wig or extention/pieces. I envy light hair girls who can Play For A Day!!
I do play with apps that let me take a picture & sub different colors & styles. Its not the same. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

And I would probably be jealous of your dark eyebrows since I have blonde peach fuzz for brows. Finally in my 30’s I had the sense to get permanent makeup on my brows so I didn’t have to draw them on every day!! Best thing I ever did. I did try a darker hair color but with my skin color, I think I look better as a blonde. Red hair is pretty, but it takes too much time to keep fresh looking (I guess not if you’re a natural redhead though!) The rose gold on my ends would be a good compromise so maybe I’ll take the leap.

I paid $8 for this in the store a couple summers ago. This is not a dollar store brand. Color lasted. I am going to check my store tomorrow for this.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing, Lou! Good to know the color lasted!

My daughter like this brand to have fun with in the summer. I think they are a Dollar Tree because these seem to be less popular colors, the pink, purple and blue seem to sell more. Also, there was a package redesign. The boxes looks different then this at my Target now for the same product.

  5. Amber

My daughter who has sandy blonde hair tried these colors and we couldnโ€™t get them to last beyond one shampoo. Hope others have better luck! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  6. Holly

I bought a gold color and and a blue-gray color one at my local Dollar Tree. It’s easy to use and looks super cute. My only negative is that it does get messy, so make sure you wash your hands. I had not realized I had gold all over my palms! lol.
