I don’t see the appeal of that $20 slat of wood that says “vinyard vines” on it. Why would you want the brand name like a store display in your house.
It’s not a big deal but I would never spend $50 on a short sleeve polo at the Vineyard store so if I can get it for $20, maybe I would consider it just to satisfy the “oh Vineyard” appeal for a teenager or father’s day 🙂
Went to my local target at around 8:45 (just routine shopping) and it was madness! I overheard one of the Managers speaking to a representative from VV and the rep. said it was the biggest opening he’s seen (over 100 at 8:00). The funny thing is that i live in a smallish town with less than 8K – who knew. All of the clothing and most of the home items were long gone by the time I walked in.
I have gotten like 5 push notifications including one as I write this to shop the vineyard vines collection. It is really insulting at this point!!! I love Target but these capsule collections are such a disaster. Bad news didn’t get anything, good news saved money!!!

They are big in Massachusetts. Normally very expensive. Another similar brand is black dog but Vineyard vines is more preppy and expensive.
I’m surprised this is such a hot collection. VV is so strongly northeastern coastal that I don’t think a lot of it makes sense from a style standpoint for most of the rest of the country. I live a couple hours from a beach but I’d never be able to carry off those signs or the beanbag toss at my house. Guess I need a beach house! 🤣
I live on a beach in Florida and the Lilly Pulitzer launch resonated more with most people around here however I did get some navy/white outfits for our family photos next month which fit the bill

Local Facebook Mom’s group reporting people stealing carts in store full of this merchandise. Just Crazy! I hope everyone realizes this is not the same Vineyard Vines merchandise sold in high end stores. Yep, you get Target quality stuff with a whale logo. Talk about shallow!
