Just a note of caution-I have a friend who is a veterinarian and she tells everyone she knows “do not feed grain free dog food”. It is known to cause dilated cardiomyopathy and death in dogs. Please read up on it.
Yes, I agree. There has been some research on this topic and it is wise to educate yourself so you can make the best decision for your pets. The legumes and potatoes in grain-free foods are becoming a concern.
EXACTLY what I wanted to share too. NO deal! BTW, there is a Facebook group (run by vets) with more info and, sadly, people who have experienced this heart issue due to pet food. The group is: tauribe-deficient (nutritional) dilated cardiomyopathy. If you are a dog owner, I’d check it out – shocking how pet food marketing has swayed well meaning owners. 😟
