Thank you! I am in Wisconsin and had the same UPC code on mine. I pitched it- better safe than sorry.

You’re welcome Alyssa! I agree, on that kind of thing, it’s best to be safe!

I live in Mo. and have the same upc code. Cannot find a lot #. Where does it appear? Top of bag has best by 04/05/20 WI 1904. Is the WI for Wisconsin?

  2. Denise

Thank you I hv an unopened bag with matching code. These outbreaks are getting worse what the heck’s going on??!!

  3. CJJ

Darn, I just got one three weeks ago but I pour it into a plastic container with a lot to protect it. I don’t know the upc and they won’t take it back without the bag. Still I’m going to dump it bc I don’t know if it’s safe or not.

I’ll bet Aldi’s would have given you a refund without the bag…their customer care is absolutely imo the best around. They CALLED me right after I filled out a complaint form and suggested I do a return “without having to return my full of fat corned beef” and at the store they made things right with their double back guarantee. And we are what we could of that corned beef. Can’t complain about that!

      • Lynn

We ate* what we could of that corned beef

      • Melissa

I just learned about their double back! Aldis is awesome. I agree that they have the best customer service!

I live in North Carolina and have a bag of it that we just opened.

  4. Melissa

Thank you, I had the matching UPC

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

The UPC (barcode) typically does not change on packages of the same product. According to the FDA notice, Lot L18A02 and L18A03 are the only affected lots.

    • Lucy

Where can I find the lot number on the package? I have had my bag for probably 3 months and we’ve used half of it.

  6. Amanda

    Thanks! I had a match.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re very welcome!

  7. Kelsey

I had the matching UPC in Michigan. My teen daughter had made cookies and my 10 year old and my two youngest boys ended up getting sick. They threw up once and had diarrhea. It’s passed now and I don’t know if it was from the flour. My teen and I did not end up getting sick so who knows!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Glad they are feeling better!

  8. Barbara

Mine has that code and I bought it in South Carolina!

  9. Ivan

This UPC was also found in Brunswick, OH.

  10. Ruth K

Thanks!!! Had a bag in my cabinet with this code. MN

Every bag of their flour will have the same UPC-it is the how they know what the item is and price when scanning at register. You have to look at the lot # and the date to see if your flour is really affected. The lot# will be by the UPC code on the Nutrition Facts side of the bag.

Bakers Corner All Purpose Flour affected by this recall is sold in a 5 lb. bag with a best if used by date of Dec. 2, 2019, lot code L18A02B and the following UPC code: 041498130404.
