This HUGE playset has two rocking climbing walls, two swings, a 9-foot wavy slide, and a trapeze. The clubhouse is 5-feet off the ground and has a steering wheel and car map!
On the fence? Sidekick Chelsey has this swingset and LOVES it!
“I have had this swingset for a little over a year and it’s awesome! It does take awhile to put together and I recommend having at least two people but the instructions are easy to follow and all parts are clearly labeled. It’s got a little bit of everything for all age levels and you can switch out the swings for a baby swing if you have a little one!”
I had an awful time with Sams Club Customer Service trying to get a $50 bonus credit back on my card (ended up cancelling my membership), however, we purchases this swingset and so far its great. Took over 8 hours for 2 people to put together – not difficult, just a lot of steps to follow.
I have a 3 year old and 1 year old. Its on the cusp of being too big for my 3 year old – still a little shaky going up the ladder and rock walls, but she will grow into it. It won’t be safe for my 1 year old for a few more years.
Oh darn! Sorry to hear how difficult it was to grab your credit, but super happy you have been pleased with the playset! Thanks a bunch for the feedback!
We have this and love it! We have a 6 year old and 3 year old. We wanted something they could grow into and this is it we paid $1,200 so this is a good deal. I like the galvanized metal rather than the wood ones that need to be stained or have wood replaced over time. It was a workout putting it together.
Thanks for taking the time to comment! Good to know it can take some effort to assemble!
Does this playset go on sale often or is this the best price? Wanting to wait until next spring/summer to purchase but if this is the lowest price I might grab one now.
We saw this same price in Feb 2019 and November 2018, Kim. Hope this helps you decide!
My kids love this swing set! I have a 12, 8 and 3 year old, and all the neighborhood friends come over and play as well… it’s very sturdy and we have had it over a year and it still looks brand new. We have also replaced a swing with a spider swing and all the kids swing at the same time. I bought it it on a Black Friday special 899 but i paid 500 for Sam’s club to deliver and install… worth every penny
That’s really great to hear! Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience, Jenn!
I’m looking at this for my kids but am on the fence of how it’ll hold up to our harsh Maine winters. I’m worried about warping mostly. Any feedback from owners that have long, cold winters??thanks!
This set Will hold up! We have the swing set, the air plane and the climbing thing all lifetime brand and each piece has held up wonderfully.
It will definitely hold up. We’re just south of Boston & I have to say our swingset actually gets more play in the winter time 🙂 We’ve had it for 3 years now.
We just purchased another lifetime swingset and love it. Although it’s a different set the same materials. It’s a solid swing set. Our wood swing set which was nearly as much cost wise only lasted 4 years. Highly recommend this brand!
We purchased this set in Dec 2015. We love it, we tried other play sets but between the harsh Texas sun and our sprinkler system, the others would warp. This one has stood up perfectly. The only fading has been the “rocks” on the Rockwall but they can be switched out. We took of the trapeze bar and added a spider swing from Sam’s club and it works great.
Thanks so much for giving us feedback on this, April!
This is a great price for this set! We paid almost $2K for it from Amazon back in 2016. It is a beast to put together – you need at least 2 people – 3 makes it go faster. It has held up very well with little signs of wear. Our son (now 7) & all of his friends love playing on it! The slide does get a bit hot in the sun, but we spray it with a garden hose & the kids love the “waterslide” effect.
I have this with the monkey bars attached. I’ve had it over a year. Even I can use the swings, and I weigh 138 lbs. Seriously… one of the best things we ever bought. I have even seen my teen boys do pull ups on the monkey bars.
Oh cool! Good to know everyone has enjoyed it! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I bought the membership to purchase online but then was not able to buy the playset i kept clicking and it wouldn’t go to my cart. So I then called customer service. I waited 10 minutes before hanging up. Sams club has gone down hill. Would rather have Costco.
Oh darn, I’m sorry to hear about your experience Gini. I wonder if you can try customer service again and tell them what happened.
Does anyone know if this is sold out? I went to Sam’s online and added to my cart but it still showing a price of $1698. The only one online that matched this picture is called the “Lifetime Adventure Deluxe Playset”. Thanks for your help 🙂
Oh bummer! You’re right. It appears this one has sold out. DARN! Thanks so much for letting us know!
Thank you Amber for letting me know so fast! 🙂 Have a good day 🙂
