Have you heard about Kroger’s new cash back program?

Like Ibotta, Kroger shoppers can now load cash back offers to their Shopper’s Card prior to making an in-store purchase. After buying the qualifying products, you’ll earn cash that can then be transferred to your Kroger Shopper’s card and used on in-store purchases or can be cashed out via PayPal ($20 minimum required)!

Those low card microwave pizza’s would be an amazing deal if they are still bogo free and you could get $3 a piece back from Kroger and Ibotta

    • Hill

      You can and I have

    • Brenda

It’s still bogo but m Ibotta is only a limit of one now.

  2. kassandra

Is this also for affiliate store?

    • sunshine89029

It works at my Fry’s which is a Kroger affiliate

    • Tiffany

      It works for Smith’s.

    • Yvonne Bush

It is on the fred meyer app but at this time their are no offers to load. I guess it will be coming soon

  3. Jess

This is AMAZING!! Another reason I LOVE Kroger!!

  4. Ben

Anyone know if this works for Mariano’s or Food 4 Less or Pick n save? Thanks!

  5. Luna

It’s our only nearby fresh vegetables store and love their bakery items too so this is awesome! Thanks for letting us know!

  6. lk

Thanks! I’m stopping at Kroger tomorrow, Just saved 70 cents off a gallon of gas there yesterday.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Oh perfect! You’re so welcome!

  7. Patty

I already have the Kroger app but how to I access the cash back from within the app. Do I need a separate app for the cash back program? Thanks!

    • Libby

I don’t think you can access from the app, I got an invite on my email. Follow the link on the post and log into your Kroger account. It’s been hit or miss for me. I got a rebate on one item I bought but not on another on the same receipt. Better than nothing though!!

    • sunshine89029

I don’t have the cash back in my mobile app, I’m only able to see it online

  8. Brenda

Is this in place of Ibotta or can you still submit your receipt to Ibotta?

    • Libby

Yes! I bought the old El Paso and got cash back from Kroger, Ibotta and Saving Star.

      • Brenda

        Thanks, that’s awesome. 🙂

  9. Gita

Can it work on Ralph’s which is there affiliate store

  10. Gita

Can you use your Ralph’s log in there is no Kroger in my area

    • Beth

Yes! I only have Bakers here and it just worked for me. 😊

      • Pat

Beth, how do you use it for Bakers?

  11. Queenjen87

Don’t be like me and just add them all… they count against your 150 coupon count 🙁

    • Janet

I just discovered this as well. You can remove these offers if you want to add more digital coupons to your account. Guess it just depends on which products you are most likely to buy in order to decide which program’s deals are best for you.

  12. Gail

If there is a Kroger digital coupon as well as a Kroger cash back offer do you get both?

    • Lisa

I would like to see an answer to this question too! And, if only one of them applies, which one will take precedence?

    • lenin1991

I can confirm from experience you can get both (or, with Ibotta, triple-stack)

      • Marissa

Is your Kroger card linked to your ibotta app?
First Kroger trip: had ibotta linked to Kroger card. Did Clicklist. No Kroger cash back rebates.
Second Kroger trip: unlinked Kroger card from ibotta. Did Clicklist. Received Kroger cash back and manually uploaded receipt to ibotta.

Ideally, I would prefer to have Kroger card linked to ibotta app

  13. Vicki

I tried it and it didn’t work for me. I had to disconnect my account and upload my receipt manually. I’m afraid to try again!

  14. Joy

Thanks Hip2Save & all comments!!! Did not know about this.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re SO very welcome!

  15. Brenda

Does anyone know how long it takes to show in your account? I bought a few things this afternoon and it’s still not showing but I’ve wondering if you would get both the digital coupon and the cash back, example, I bought 5 of the Black Forest gummy bears with the 99 cent digital coupon so would I also get the 50cent cash back?

    • Tammy S Soik

the site says up to 7 days to upload.

      • Brenda

        Thank you

  16. Kimykima

I cashed out 7 dollars on my shopper card and used it the next day. It did not come off my total.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! Were you able to speak with customer service?

      • Kimykima

No I was in a hurry. So maybe it takes longer than 24 hours to load to card. I didn’t see where it says there is a wait for it. Guess I will find out next time.

        • Kelly H

Your cashier may have hit the wrong key to access the cash back. At my store (where I also work) employees are not very familiar with this program yet. Next time you shop, tell them you want to use your reward. Hopefully they’ll have figured it out by then. Good luck!

          • Yvonne Bush

I work at a fred meyer store and we have not been told about this program. Next time I wok I am going to ask about it. Right now they have something about it on the app but there are no offers to load yet.

  17. Pat

I haven’t linked mine, I have Family Fare linked and rarely get the credit. When I did get credit, I had to contact them. Also, if I have the “any purchase” rebate saved, and I go to Family Fare and Kroger on the same day, but submit it for Kroger, I get an email saying my rebate wasn’t valid. Never says what isn’t valid, but I figured out it must be that any purchase rebate, as it happens every time. I don’t ever plan on connecting my Kroger card, hopefully, they won’t make us do it.
