Started with low-end stores like Dollar General, Walmart, then Aldi, Kroger, and even wholesales Costco, and now a farmers market. I believe Whole Foods had a recall a few days ago too. Things are being advertised as “organic” are also being recalled. Seeing these titles every day is so scary: “Tyson recalls over 11 million lbs of chicken strip products”, or “Pillsbury recalls all-purpose flour due to salmonella concerns”, etc. Manufacturers are so willing to recall their products because they know not a lot of people are aware of the recall notice, and/or willing to bring the contaminated products to the store for return. They make headlines so people know they are taking responsibilities but not so much loss, and to avoid lawsuits. Just sad.
That why I return stuff when I can. Forget it. They tell you toss. And there goes my money down the drain. You would think they would have better restrictions on stuff like this. So many recalls it’s disgusting.
Thank you for the heads up! I just purchased this exact product (upc, lot, exp) from sprouts!
You are welcome, C!
