4 kids playing cards on floating picnic table

Check out these reviews:

This table is a great hanging out spot on the water! My kids played their waterproof cards and had snacks, and we all used it as a fun resting & playing spot while swimming around. It was more stable than I thought it would be–a unique idea, and added to the fun. Only con was table sometimes got in the way when we were trying to raft up our pontoons, but we worked around it.

We have one of these at the summer camp that we direct. It is absolutely fabulous! Everyone loves to have a place to perch in the middle of the water. Sometimes, people will sit at the table and play cards. Other times, we flip it over and lay out on the benches. It is very stable and makes a perfect place for people to hang out in the water. I highly recommend!

It looks cool but I am thinking it needs a canopy of some sort. I see a painful sunburn happening.

  2. Vicki

    Um really–NO!!

  3. Ivan

That looks like a joke product.

  4. Nita

I guess if you have $600 to blow.. but doesn’t look like it’s worth that much, that’s the problem, definitely needs more bells n whistles.

  5. Leah

    Fish would nibble your toes!

    • Keisha

I had the same thought! LOL

  6. Lana

I would love to watch our neighbors across the cove at the lakehouse who are always drunk on the weekends try to get seated on that. They are always entertaining.

    • Donna

I’m glad you have a good sense of humor because I’m sure it is not funny! (Insert big eye roll) lol

  7. s

I could MAYBE see people spending $200 but $600 seems steep to me. And I agree that it needs a canopy or shade of some sort!

  8. katie

It would be fun for 50 bucks

  9. Meg

If only to watch half of my family fall off…😂

  10. Gin

I agree with the canopy. Price is crazy. Doesn’t look safe in the event of a tip over.

  11. Joyce

    No

  12. Tammy

If I lived on a lake and had $600. laying around. Looks like fun.

  13. Lory

    For $600⁉️ NOT a Chance!!
I wholeheartedly agree with the other ladies… waaayyy too much $$. I wouldn’t mind spending maybe $50-65 on something like that IF it were made of a good material & of course I’d Only use it in shallow waters ( probably just barely enough to float/keep cool 😎) I just don’t see it as a practical item, especially for an outrageous amount like that.

  14. Erica

Plus where do u store that big thing?!

    No for me!

  15. Kathy

Uh…..NO! I would get some plastic barrels and wood. Make a floating dock and anchor a picknic table to it!

  16. Kristy

I thought that’s what boats are for. To hang out in the middle of the water

    • Laurie

Exactly what I thought!! Like a boat for a boat!!! 😂

  17. candis

    They look ridiculous..

  18. Jes

I would think it would be difficult to balance everyone to get on and off. Drinks sliding, people falling off…maybe some folks are more coordinated than me and my family/friends.

  19. Bertie

We are big lake people. At the lake practically every weekend in the summer. Our local lake is only about an 8min drive from our house. We link up with other boats on the lake. We have a floating trampoline that we paid around $800-900 for. It gets used a lot! For just chilling, floating, and the kids get a big kick out of it. I just don’t see us actually using this.

    • Malinda

We do the same thing! People float on floats, hang on to a rope, encircling our pontoons, floating around in our life jackets etc. Tons of fun. Hadn’t heard about the trampoline. I’d buy this if it was much cheaper though, just for the novelty of it.

      • Malinda

Oh wow, just looked up the trampoline. I have seen something like that. Got to have one!

  20. Janet

More suited to the person who has everything, and money to burn – plus lots of extra space for storage

  21. Mei

Perfect gift for when I get invited a birthday party by George and Amal Clooney to use at their Italian lake house! LOL

    • Denise

Hahaha if you get invited can I come as your guest

  22. Laurie

    FUN🌞

  23. Holly Platt

A lot of these posts seem pretty negative, I’m a single, full-time working young woman and I think this looks very well made, fun and just nice in general. If I had the need I would pay $600. Water toys are always pretty pricey and again this looks very heavy duty/well made and probably will last a very long time. If I the need and the space – I would totally buy it!

    • s

Holly, the post asked a question & people answered with their opinions. Thanks for sharing yours.

    • jessa

Well i can promise you one thing. There is nobody in the world that “needs” one of these.

      • Kitty

No one “needs” most of the stuff posted on here

    • Jen

      I agree 🙂

  24. Dealzgurl

I would love to have something like this! I think $600 is steep but it looks like fun to me as long as I’m not in water that’s too deep. It does seem like getting on and off would be a challenge so that would be interesting to see. A canopy is a great idea! I’m not mad at people who can afford stuff like this. My dream has always been to live at the lake and have all the toys to go with it, lol!

    • Lo

You just need to be friends with the person with all the toys 🤣
I’ve heard that’s the saying about boats

      • Dealzgurl

        Lol! Good idea!

  25. Heather C

Only if it came with a lake!!

  26. Amy

If I’m going to invest in a giant floating device for me and my closest friends, I’m getting the giant unicorn or flamingo, not this plain boring picnic table. I know I’m comparing inflatable vs not, but this is just doesn’t say summer fun to me.

  27. Pam

Isn’t the boat or dock that you this to a place to get out of the water to eat? Lol

    • Pam

      *anchor this to

  28. Cristine

This does not seem like fun to me… Definitely not worth $600. Lol

  29. Jessica

I am not a lake person, so no, *I* wouldn’t buy it. But if I were considering it, 600 pounds seems like a too-low weight limit if you wanted to use for 4 adults. Otherwise, it looks fun!

  30. C

Would love to see some beefy football players get on this 🤣 (it would sink as they’re only calculating 150 lbs per person)… I wouldn’t buy this, but I wouldn’t buy one of those “lily pads” either- which are hundreds of dollars and those are just a roll of foam- so unlike everyone else I can see where the price is coming from, but wouldn’t pay it

  31. Barbara

No I probably would not but that being said I spent $300 on roller skates so who am I to judge or tell others how they should spend their money. If it nakes ypu $600 happy then I say go for it.

  32. Jen

I live in Florida, aka gator country. This a big nope for me.

    • CW

Agreed. Gators swimming up to you to be their lunch. So many stupid people feed them and they approach humans, this contraption screams “eat me and my food” in FL and the FL Game and Freshwater Fish Officers couldn’t get to you fast enough to save you.

  33. E

I’ll do boats, canoes and floating docks, but this looks insanely scary to me! I don’t know why, but it looks freaky!! I’d eat and lounge on the boat, thanks.

  34. Greg

I guarantee they are over the 600 lbs limit in the picture.

  35. DeeC

How do balance the weight out? One side may be off with one who may be heavier.

  36. Jason

My first thought for this $600 piece of foam was what happens if you are the only one that wants to sit at the table…..does the thing flip?
And NO I am not paying $600 for this

  37. Amy knightley

Just a big fat no…for that price get something more fun.
