Did you know that Staples offers a 110% price match guarantee?
Yes, it’s true! If you find a currently available lower price on a new and identical item, just show the Staples cashier or an associate at the customer service desk the lower price when you buy the item at Staples and they will match it plus will discount it by 10% of the difference.
And if you purchase an item from Staples and tell them within 14 days that you found that item at a lower price in their stores or online at Staples.com, they’ll refund the difference! Check out more details HERE.
I am not very near a Staples store, but am near an Office Depot/Office Max and they “price match” Staples’ store prices (including sales) for the same item(s) – obviously only works for the Elmer’s Glue & Crayola items this time! I’m heading to Office depot to restock our summer art box! Thanks for the post!
That’s awesome, MJ! You’re so welcome!
Seriously!!😱😱Great deals but our schools just got out!
I know! These back to school deals do start up quick! My kiddos have been out of school for almost a month now. SO crazy how summer vacation can vary!
My kid goes back in 3 weeks. Usually we’re in school for 2 weeks before the sales begin. This is great!
Back to school deals already?
My kids still have 3 more days of school.
I like that they do these deals so early..you can get it out of the way, esp if u are going away for the summer.
My last day is tomorrow, not even done with this school year yet!!
I have been waiting for these deals, my kids go back to school in 2 weeks! Thanks
You’re so welcome, Kenia!
Curious to know which state this is?
We get out on Thursday!
Do u know when will Office depot start?
Do you have a list of lowest prices ?
Hi there, Fran! Hoping you find this list helpful.
I was going to say some schools aren’t out yet while others will be starting in mid July. Wow crazy how the states/districts are sooo different. 😮
Thank you!!! Got a bunch of supplies! I always seem to shop when they’re sold out of the good stuff, so I’m glad they started early! That means they can restock in august and I still have options to choose from!
Good point! You’re welcome, Sarah Jay!
How do I get the deal. It’s still full price when I click the link. Am I doing something wrong?
Same here
It is in store only…
Hi there! These sale prices are in store only. Hope that helps!
Our school has been out for a month already, starting early August. So ready to get this back to school shopping done already!
This is our second week on vacation, is this the lowest price these items go?
Due with #5 sept. 1st and my kids go back mid August. Happy to get a head start because I’m sure I won’t want to be shopping school supplies early August at 8 months pregnant in Texas. Thanks!
Aww, Congratulations, Meg! You’re SO welcome!
Is this a stock up price? My daughter starts kindergarten in the fall so it’s my first time!!
Hi Jenny! Here is a list you may find helpful! https://hip2save.com/2018/06/28/save-money-school-supplies-free-printable/
Does anyone have an opinion the Staples glue sticks-are they any good? My son needs 20 just to start the year off, so I am looking for good, but inexpensive ones.
20 sounds a bit excessive? Is the teacher asking that from each child? I’ve been teaching for 22years. Elmer’s purple glue sticks are, hands down, the best.
I agree Meh, but I double checked. And that is just to start off. I am starting to wonder if I am sending him to school or arts and crafts camp! Lol! Thank you for your suggestion.
We’ve literally been out for a week, not even that when you count the middle school send-off trip and closing my classroom. I’m not even close to being ready for back to school, we don’t go back till the day after Labor Day (inter tourist state). My daughters face in early June when we were in Office Depot and they had company required back to school ads up with 2 weeks left for us to go was priceless.
Walmart has switched to these prices if you don’t have a staples
Oh awesome! Thanks for the heads up, Ashley!
I know these sales are early, but I have heard that if the Tariffs go into effect that school supplies will go up.
Just saying…
You think that is crazy, Hobby Lobby is already putting out their Christmas stuff. When is too early really too early.
Omg I cant believe it!
BTW Craft stores always put out Christmas stuff in July so crafters have time to make items to sell at craft fairs in the Fall.
My son isn’t even done until Wednesday!
Good to see these deals are starting early! When I was in school, our district was year round so we were usually in school a few weeks before Tax Free day or any of the good Back to School sales.
My son will be going to Kindergarten this year. We are moving to Irvine next week. Anyone have idea is school supply list is same for all schools of all states. If anyone know for Irvine, CA it will be great help
Check out the school district website for the area you will be moving to. The school supply list should be posted. If not glue, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, facial tissue, paper towels, pencils, and hand sanitizers are all good things to stock up on.
Thank you Tyra for the information. I will check the school website.
