Just $10.99 $11.99 (regularly $14.99) – from Amazon or Target.com

My kiddo used one of these bottles pretty much everyday during the school year from pre-k, all the way up to 6th grade. While they were each sporting a few scratches by the end of the school year, they never leaked and there would still be ice left in her thermos late into the evening! They were by far, our favorite water bottles for lunch-packing!  – Hip2Save Sidekick, Cassandra.

We have these and they’re great. Keep water cold, rarely leak. I have a 3 year old and 4.5 year old and they are tough on water bottles.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the great information, Lpmousse!

We used the religiously until my daughter started needing more water than 12oz. They lasted years and kept water cold for hours.

How do you get the straw area clean?

      • Christi

I had two of these straws melt a little in the dishwasher. I try to use these mostly for water. A draw brush would work to clean.

        • Shannon

If you are able to turn off your heated dry that helps a lot with plastic parts! Top rack is usually cooler if you can’t.

      • Mandy

It pops right out of the mouth piece and is easily cleaned by hand or in the dishwasher. This water bottle is my favorite for both function and ease of cleaning.

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the info and recommendation on cleaning them, Laurie!

We use the 16 oz. Thermos Funtainer with spout no straw. Sooo easy to handwash body and top let air dry on a rack. We have had problems with one leaking at the bottom. Contacted warranty dept. they sent me form to fill out including color preferences with pd return label. Two to three week turn around with brand new water bottle. Funtainer products include a 5 yr. warranty. Great customer service give them a call if you have issues with their products.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience, JenniferS! That sounds great!

We’ve used these for at least 12 or 13 years now. Always had great luck with them. My kids love them, and especially love the designs with characters. We’ve never had a problem with the bottles themselves, but I have called customer service a few times to order additional straws. I believe they send one or two replacement straws and you only pay postage which is under four dollars the last time I did it. You have to have the Thermos container you are wanting to get replacement straws for, because they ask for a code on the bottom. Hope this helps.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Carrie! This is super helpful!

  5. Tammy

You can call Customer service and get replacement straws and spouts when they get gross and too difficult to clean. You just tell them the number on the spout and it’s inexpensive to have them shipped to your home.

  6. Jessica

The blue one is $11.99 at both Amazon and Target when I click through. But these are great. We love them!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up, Jessica! I just updated that.

  7. Kalynn

Thanks – picked up the pink one from target to save an extra 5%!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Awesome! You’re welcome, Kalynn!

Oh! I’ve been waiting for these to go on sale. My son used his all last year for lunch and with his sister starting school next year I knew we needed another one 🙂 Was able to snag a princess one and a batman one for 11.44 each for same day pick up at Wax-Mart 🙂 I highly recommend the thermos food containers too! We all use them for soups, pasta, chicken nuggets, etc for lunches.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

So glad you could score these, meghancooperlahr!

  9. boltsmom

Got my son the Paw Patrol one from Walmart for $11.44 – he’s going to love it! Plus he only likes cold water, not room temp, so he’ll be happy. He’s not even four yet and is very particular lol.

  10. Luna

I have at least 10 of these thermos funtainer, no straw and fogo style in my house and highly recommend them!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks a ton for the recommendation, Luna!

  11. Lisa

I keep the drink container in the freezer to help keep milk cold til school lunch. I’ve tried it for my lunch at work and it was plenty cool.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh neat! Thanks for the helpful tip!

  12. Melanie

Target also sells replacement spouts and straws. They are only compatible with the thermos’ purchased from target though. Walmart’s design is slightly different DCPI 069050980

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the suggestion, Melanie! Good to know!

  13. Suzanne

They fit perfect in the top of my daughter’s Bentgo lunchbox. She only likes her drinks ice cold and these keep the ice from melting. The directions specify handwash only. I use a small bottle brush to clean the straw. Also to save on cost, I just buy the solid colors and make my own design with my silhouette.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I love how you make your own designs on them, Suzanne!

  14. SunnyDayMama

My kids didn’t have the dexterity or strength to open most water bottles, so when I found these, it was a huge win! They’ve used them for years, I’ve washed them in the dishwasher all this time, and they haven’t worn out.

  15. Crystal

Buy a pack of pipe cleaners (fuzzy sticks) from the craft dept at Walmart for $.99 to clean straws.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Great idea! Thanks, Crystal!
