These are my most favorite candy… I mean ‘grapes’, actually I mean my MOST favorite fruits EVER!!! Usually can get them from Target or Lunds & Byerlys too

    • Allison M.

So what makes them taste like cotton candy? Are they sugar coated?

      • Val

They’re not sugar coated! Grapes do have a ton of sugar/carbs but these are the same as regular grapes. So good! Pricey tho.

      • Kim

No, it’s just the natural flavor of the grape type nothing added, just grapes.

      • Ashleigh

Different species of grapes were bred together to produce a hybrid that tastes like very much like cotton candy

  2. SummerSun

Yes, the Berkshire fruit I’ve ever tasted!

    • SummerSun

Oops meant to stay BEST! Dang autocorrect

  3. Ashley

Some HEBs and whole foods have them as well.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks, Ashley! Good to know!

  4. Chris

For those down south, without a Costci card, Publix has these too!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

  5. micnic

For those up north…. Wegmans also has them!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much! I’ve seen them at Wegmans too!

  6. Kristy

I got some Organic ones at Trader Joe’s today! They are so good.

    • 5pink1blue

      Yay for Wegmans
      Also at Walmart

  7. Mbrown

Got mine at sams! 10 a pop but so good

  8. Marvymia

Our health food store carries them at times here in Maine. My kids love them but they are not cheap, luckily our oldest works there so she gets a nice discount.

  9. Amanda

My whole family loves these they never last long in our house! I wonder what makes them so much more expensive than other grapes? 🤔

    • Mel

According to an article on these they are actually grown in test tubes prior to planting as they are a created species of grape they’re made and not naturally grown in the earth but are replanted. Laboratory costs I imagine are quite large.

      • Juan Muniz

It’s just selective breeding. It’s really not as complicated as they make it seem. Harvest the seeds from that strain of grape and you’ll as well have cotton candy grapes at home.

        • EH

Many commercially grown fruit have sterile seeds so it’s unlikely you’d be able to grow them at home from seeds.

  10. emily

Sam’s had gummy bear grapes 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh neat! I haven’t seen those yet! Thanks for the heads up!

    • Robbie

Those are delicious also!! Also the Gum Drop flavored grapes are good also.

  11. Katmitch

    Sprouts carries them too!

  12. Patty d

    Oh so good

  13. Rebecca

My Aldi has them too for much cheaper.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Rebecca! I’ll have to check my store too!

    • Jaimee Edelburg

Ooohhh I wish I could find them at my Aldi’s!

  14. Jill

Got these last night at Martins grocery store. Very sweet but didn’t think they tasted like cotton candy

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the honest comment! It has been a while since I had these!

    • Jen

I agree, they are good but marketing them to say they taste like cotton candy, imo, is a stretch. Maybe it’s my tastebuds.

  15. TJ

My family must be the only ones who prefer regular grapes over the cotton candy! I wanted to love them but we all thought they were just ok.

    • Noelle

My family & I prefer regular grapes as well. Not a fan of these grapes at all.

  16. Karen

I work in the produce department at Meijer and we’ve been getting these in for almost 3 years. I love them and buy them whenever they come in

  17. Mel

I hear these are tasty but please know they carry about 12% more sugar than conventional grapes that are naturally grown. Just a heads up to those who are watching their sugar intake.

    • Jodi P

That is good to know, thank you!

  18. Paula

Has anyone seen them in mass?
I’m in north central mass. I don’t have a Costco membership

    • Nicole

Whole Foods in Massachusetts usually has them, but later in the season.

    • Esther

They’re in the Costco in Dedham. I have seen them elsewhere in Mass in previous years, in Roche Bros and Stop and Shop.

  19. Heather

Cotton candy grapes are the BEST!!!!!! If you like things that are sweet and haven’t tried these, you should!

  20. Amy

I wonder what raisins form these would taste like? I could then add them to cookies.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      What neat idea, Amy!

  21. Jackie

Kroger (Dillons) has them. They bring them every summer and even during the year you might also see them. right now they have them available. They are so good.

  22. linda

Not trying to knock these grapes, but, how are they organic if they are made in a laboratory?

    • Monica

Do you know what organic means?

      • Amy

I was thinking how funny. They may not have pesticides but they are a hybrid or (gmo) genetically altered. So they may be something some people would want to avoid.

        • Nicole

GMO’s are prohibited if the grapes have the organic label. This grapes seems to be just a cross pollination of two “breeds” of grape.

    • Jackie

      No pesticides

  23. Sue

My daughter said they are delicious

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SO glad she has enjoyed them, Sue!

  24. Danielle

I’m a fan of another hybrid fruit. Grapples. It’s an apple that tastes like grapes. I do not like apples, but love grapples. Have yet to try these cotton candy grapes or the gummy bear grapes though.

    • Luna

I would love to try grapples where did you find them

      • Danielle

We live in Central Pennsylvania and have found then at Weis Markets. They typically come in a 4 pack and if I remember correctly. They were about $5, but definitely worth the price, if you ask me.

    • Jackie

OMG yes! We also love the grapples! 😊 we haven’t seen them in a while but when we do we grab a ton because they don’t last here in my house, they kids eat them up super fast.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh neat! I’ve never heard of those, Danielle! Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to keep an eye out!

    • Miz

I was thinking about Grapples, too when I read about the cotton candy grapes. The grapples were too weird for our family – tasted like the fake grape (kool aid-esque) flavor with apple texture, of course. Not crisp and refreshing if you are wanting an apple – fun though! Very sweet. Not that different in concept from the cotton candy grapes – too far of a flavor departure if you are wanting grapes, or an apple. Though I am all about enjoying the novelty and will keep trying everything fun and new – even if just once 🙂

  25. Lynn

Don’t waste your money, only the first one tastes like cotton candy then the rest just taste like a regular green grape. Super disappointing since I thought each grape would tase like cotton candy, but they don’t.
