Fruit that tastes like cotton candy? Yes, please!
Hurry in to your local Costco store where you may spot Organic Cotton Candy Grapes! And yes, according to the package, these grapes really do taste like cotton candy!
If you spot these popular 100% organic grapes, be sure to grab them right away as they have a very high chance of selling out and are only available during the summer months! Plan to pay around $9.99 for a large 3 pound container (pricing may vary by location).

If you have picky eaters, this might just be the trick to getting them to try something new and healthy – they’d even be yummy frozen on a hot summer day!
Have you tried these organic cotton candy grapes?
These are my most favorite candy… I mean āgrapesā, actually I mean my MOST favorite fruits EVER!!! Usually can get them from Target or Lunds & Byerlys too
So what makes them taste like cotton candy? Are they sugar coated?
Theyāre not sugar coated! Grapes do have a ton of sugar/carbs but these are the same as regular grapes. So good! Pricey tho.
No, itās just the natural flavor of the grape type nothing added, just grapes.
Different species of grapes were bred together to produce a hybrid that tastes like very much like cotton candy
Yes, the Berkshire fruit Iāve ever tasted!
Oops meant to stay BEST! Dang autocorrect
Some HEBs and whole foods have them as well.
Thanks, Ashley! Good to know!
For those down south, without a Costci card, Publix has these too!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
For those up north…. Wegmans also has them!
Thanks so much! I’ve seen them at Wegmans too!
I got some Organic ones at Trader Joeās today! They are so good.
Yay for Wegmans
Also at Walmart
Got mine at sams! 10 a pop but so good
Our health food store carries them at times here in Maine. My kids love them but they are not cheap, luckily our oldest works there so she gets a nice discount.
My whole family loves these they never last long in our house! I wonder what makes them so much more expensive than other grapes? š¤
According to an article on these they are actually grown in test tubes prior to planting as they are a created species of grape theyāre made and not naturally grown in the earth but are replanted. Laboratory costs I imagine are quite large.
Itās just selective breeding. Itās really not as complicated as they make it seem. Harvest the seeds from that strain of grape and youāll as well have cotton candy grapes at home.
Many commercially grown fruit have sterile seeds so itās unlikely youād be able to grow them at home from seeds.
Sam’s had gummy bear grapes š
Oh neat! I haven’t seen those yet! Thanks for the heads up!
Those are delicious also!! Also the Gum Drop flavored grapes are good also.
Sprouts carries them too!
Oh so good
My Aldi has them too for much cheaper.
Thanks, Rebecca! I’ll have to check my store too!
Ooohhh I wish I could find them at my Aldiās!
Got these last night at Martins grocery store. Very sweet but didnāt think they tasted like cotton candy
Thanks so much for the honest comment! It has been a while since I had these!
I agree, they are good but marketing them to say they taste like cotton candy, imo, is a stretch. Maybe it’s my tastebuds.
My family must be the only ones who prefer regular grapes over the cotton candy! I wanted to love them but we all thought they were just ok.
My family & I prefer regular grapes as well. Not a fan of these grapes at all.
I work in the produce department at Meijer and weāve been getting these in for almost 3 years. I love them and buy them whenever they come in
I hear these are tasty but please know they carry about 12% more sugar than conventional grapes that are naturally grown. Just a heads up to those who are watching their sugar intake.
That is good to know, thank you!
Has anyone seen them in mass?
Iām in north central mass. I donāt have a Costco membership
Whole Foods in Massachusetts usually has them, but later in the season.
They’re in the Costco in Dedham. I have seen them elsewhere in Mass in previous years, in Roche Bros and Stop and Shop.
Cotton candy grapes are the BEST!!!!!! If you like things that are sweet and haven’t tried these, you should!
I wonder what raisins form these would taste like? I could then add them to cookies.
What neat idea, Amy!
Kroger (Dillons) has them. They bring them every summer and even during the year you might also see them. right now they have them available. They are so good.
Not trying to knock these grapes, but, how are they organic if they are made in a laboratory?
Do you know what organic means?
I was thinking how funny. They may not have pesticides but they are a hybrid or (gmo) genetically altered. So they may be something some people would want to avoid.
GMOās are prohibited if the grapes have the organic label. This grapes seems to be just a cross pollination of two ābreedsā of grape.
No pesticides
My daughter said they are delicious
SO glad she has enjoyed them, Sue!
I’m a fan of another hybrid fruit. Grapples. It’s an apple that tastes like grapes. I do not like apples, but love grapples. Have yet to try these cotton candy grapes or the gummy bear grapes though.
I would love to try grapples where did you find them
We live in Central Pennsylvania and have found then at Weis Markets. They typically come in a 4 pack and if I remember correctly. They were about $5, but definitely worth the price, if you ask me.
OMG yes! We also love the grapples! š we havenāt seen them in a while but when we do we grab a ton because they donāt last here in my house, they kids eat them up super fast.
Oh neat! I’ve never heard of those, Danielle! Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to keep an eye out!
I was thinking about Grapples, too when I read about the cotton candy grapes. The grapples were too weird for our family – tasted like the fake grape (kool aid-esque) flavor with apple texture, of course. Not crisp and refreshing if you are wanting an apple – fun though! Very sweet. Not that different in concept from the cotton candy grapes – too far of a flavor departure if you are wanting grapes, or an apple. Though I am all about enjoying the novelty and will keep trying everything fun and new – even if just once š
Donāt waste your money, only the first one tastes like cotton candy then the rest just taste like a regular green grape. Super disappointing since I thought each grape would tase like cotton candy, but they donāt.
