   We got one of these brand tv’s recently and really enjoy it. It’s very good quality!

   I had the 55″ 4k roku one for 18 months. It has died all it shows is a black screen. Customer service asks 2 questions is it still under manufacturer 12 month warranty and did you buy the extended warranty . If it is out of date and you did all the trouble shooting on their website (this is a common problem) you are out of luck and told to call a repairman. Please check out all the reviews on this brand before you purchase. Repairmen are hard to find.

   Son has had the 49″ TCL for 2 yrs and it’s been fine moving to/from school. We ordered the 50″ on Amazon today as there is an additional discount (10%) code on the order page. It was $279.99 – $28 and then whatever tax you’re obligated to pay.

   Husband mentioned that the 49″ is the older version of the 50″ so keep that in mind if you see a good deal on one of the other.
