If you have a discover It credit card, and you link it to your PayPal account, you get another 5% cashback.
So…. there is no benefit to buying these if you have a red card and already get 5 percent off?

So if you have a red card there’s no point in buying these for yourself to save money. Only if you need them for gifts.

No, I did speak with customer service and they confirmed that you would need to use some other form of payment. Hope that helps!

Hi there! Unfortunately you cannot use a gift card to purchase a gift card.
I did it recently so maybe it depends in the store? I purchased a physical gift card using one I had loaded in the app.

I was pleasantly surprised by Prime Days this year, too! There’s been past when I bought nothing. I really expected Target to give Amazon a run for their money, but I didn’t see anything that even piqued my interest.
It’s beneficial if you purchase the Target gift cards with a different credit card. For example, Fidelity card and Amex Blue Business give 2% back on any purchase, so stacked this would be a 7% discount.

Hi Allison! Here are the restrictions I found listed – “Target GiftCards are solely for use at Target stores and on Target.com. Target GiftCards cannot be used to purchase any prepaid or specialty gift cards.”. Hoping you receive it soon!
