Does anyone have this? We were just looking to purchase and I’m wondering what others think if they’ve purchased. TY!
I’m wondering the same thing
We bought this 4 years ago and love it! It was pretty easy to install. We even have it hooked up to the ice maker in our fridge. Great tasting water and ice!
Thank you so much for offering feedback Lauren! Glad to hear you love it!
Thank you all for your feedback!
Which one of the two do you have? Thank you ☺️
We have the 5-stage one in the first link of this post.
I’ve had this system for about 5 years now and love it!!
Do you add any minerals. I heard that RO water may be too soft and thus ‘hungry’ and may pull minerals from you body. I am thinking of getting a system that was on shark tank, it doesn’t filter the calcium and magnesium – however I worry my city water has too much calcium.
So I am also considering RO but not sure about no minerals in the water. Need a happy medium with calcium I guess, but still need to understand these systems better.
🤔
I purchased one 4 years ago and we never use it. After I read that reverse osmosis filtration systems actually suck all the minerals out of your body we stopped.
Thanks for your honest feedback, Aleshia!
RO systems can waste up to 90% of the water — so 9 gallons wasted and flushed for every 1 gallon that’s produced, and they grow more wasteful as they age. That’s a problem in drought-prone areas.
They have come a long way. We have an RO/DI unit for our fish tank. We do have a top of the line unit that can fill my 220 gal fishtank in less than a day but with this new unit we have we have so little waste. We get more clean water than waste water at this point.
