See what Hip2Save reader, Phoenix, had to say about the Keurig K-Cafe…

Highly recommend this product if you love lattes/cappuccinos. Clean up is a breeze. I wouldn’t want to switch to any other Keurig. Five stars from my end 😀

I recently purchased this machine when Target was having a cartwheel. I read reviews and one of the things that seems to be a consistent complaint is the frother. When I first got it, it was hit and miss with it working correctly so I thought I would have to take it back. I got to looking at the machine and saw the pressure button inside the compartment that holds the frother. I realized that it must be weight related. I know I was not always adding creamer/milk to the line on the frother cup because I wouldn’t normally use that much in a cup of coffee but I started to play with creamer/milk and water, adusting the coffee brewing to strong since I was adding extra water to the frother to hit the lowest line. The frother has now worked every time. No, my froth isn’t as rich since adding the water to the creamer or milk but it works for me and makes me happy with the machine. My daughter chooses not to use the frother on the machine as she uses an almond milk that doesn’t froth as well in this machine as it does in the frother she already had and she doesn’t have to add a minimum amount. Also, quick tip… if you get the reusable universal k cup (separate purchase) it does fit in this machine. You just have to take off the extra piece on the bottom of the k cup. There were no instructions and I thought I had purchased the wrong k cup but finally found a youtube video that showed them popping that piece off.

We loved the coffee form this machine but the foamer was so wonky we returned. I think I will try again and use your advice. thanks!

I thought Keurig was a brand that was exempt from Kohl’s coupons

But since you posted this I decided to try it out with the Keurig K-mini Plus. To my surprise it worked and I was able to get it for $45.49!! (I had $5 from today’s mystery email, $10/$50 home goods coupon, 30% coupon). And since I already spent $14 during this Kohl’s cash period, I will have the store add my 2 receipts together when I go to pick it up, and I will get $10 Kohl’s cash. THANK YOU!!

So in the mystery e-mail was $5 kc?? I have never seen that.
Also I did not know you could combine receipts from separate shopping days to get the KC. I was always told it had to be the same day.

        • Amy

Yes, today my mystery email from Kohl’s said it would contain $5, $10, or $15 in KC to spend online or in store today.
I’ve always been able to combine receipts for items that were purchased during the entire Kohl’s cash promotional time period.

At Teri thanks for your insight! I had no idea they had this machine. I have a large older one that’s just k cups. This is pretty cool.
