Darn! I see written in very tiny on their site it says “exclusions apply” next to the free shipping. I’m sorry you aren’t getting it, Shelly. I’ll update the post with that info.
Thanks, got a Star Wars backpack for my son for only $20 total. I will say that I had to click on several backpacks before I could find one that would ship to me and store pickup wasnāt required.
FYI – their water bottles are terrible. I bought two last summer when there was a deal like this and returned both because they leak. However, we have a PBK lunchbox that we love š.
Thanks for leaving your honest feedback, Jessica! We really appreciate it!
I agree. The water bottles are useless. Not worth the price at all. But we love PBK backpacks and lunch boxes.
I have purchased many of the water bottles over the years and they work great, but you have to make sure to seal them properly after washing to prevent leaks.
Those buckles on the front are to strap the lunchbox on so they dont have to carry it. The girl I nanny has one and i love that feature.
The buckles on the front of the backpack, I mean.
How are their sizes? Would I need a mini for kindergartener or small?
You would want a small for sure! My 3 yr old uses the mini by herself. It cannot hold a folder or binder. Itās great for a snack, drink and spare outfit.
For motherās day out we got her a small!
The mini I got for my preschooler. I would go with the small or large. I got my kindergartener a large one so it would last her a few more years. She got a new one when she was in 3rd grade, not because it broke but because she wanted a new pattern.
These are The Best backpacks and lunch boxes! They make good quality things that last for ever. My kids hate when I buy them pottery barn backpacks and lunches because they know they will have to keep them for a few years. They could last for ever but after a few years my kids are begging me to get new ones so I do BUT the old ones are still looking like new after a good wash in the washing machine. They just want new ones because all the kids at school get new ones every year. The thing is that they donāt get pottery barn so at the end of the year they are all falling apart.
How is their return/replacement process? I bought my 2-year-old a personalized backpack for Christmas, although she doesnāt start preschool until this August. Sheās only worn it around the house, occasionally. I just noticed there are two small holes on the bottom! It felt like a tough material, and she isnāt rough with it, so Iām not too thrilled with paying as much as I did and itās on its way to falling apart before actually using it.
Oh darn! Sorry to hear it hasn’t held up well! I did find this in their return policy –
“You can return eligible items within 30 days of receiving an order”.
You could always give them a call – 1.800.993.4923
Hope that helps!
I want to buy the thermos for hot lunches. Do they work?
Anyone know when they typically have their free personalization days?
