I love the debit since I do alot of everyday items. Always 5% off my purchases and free shipping. It takes a day or two to come out of my account, so keep that in mind.

I thought the breach was with the credit card? I don’t have their credit card but I shopped on the site with another credit card during the time period and target sent me information about it and the credit monitoring service for a year.
I applied and got approved for the debit card a few days ago so I can use the coupon for baby diapers and get free shipping without minimum. I used a checking account that I only keep a few hundreds in as a precaution. HTH 🌺
I signed up last week for the debit card for my husband and one for me. They sent an apology letter saying they were not able to process mine (they said I can try again in store or online) and my husband was denied. I wonder what helps determine if we get it or not. We both have excellent credit (which I believe they don’t need to check for the debit card anyway) and we have been established with Bank of America for many years and are financially stable. 🤷🏼♀️ not wasting my time signing up anymore.

The same happened to me and my mom, we both re applied and were approved instantly. I think when I had initially tried their system was just overloaded with people trying to apply.
Not sure what their deal is. I had the red card for years and loved shopping with it. Then I streamlined my budget and started saving shopping less. Before I realized a year had passed and they cancelled my card with no notice due to inactivity. Not wasting my time on it anymore.
2nd time applying with great credit as well and have had BOA for over 10 years. I was approved this time, not sure what changed, but if you are declined then call in to have them look at the app themsleves.

I hope so. I got a letter in the mail today saying that there was an error (I thought I had been denied). So, I signed up again online and they want me to verify my account. I hope I get the $40!
Just FYI I have the debit and credit and tried to apply for another debit tied to another account and was denied because I already have a debit card and am only allowed to have one debit tied to one account…

Not sure what happened but they denied me for the debit because they said they could not validate my checking account but sure seemed funny they could make 3 withdrawals then add them back and can’t validate and I even told them the amounts …weird to me.

So I applied and tried for the instant approval but it was rejected for some reason? and it only gave me the option to be approved for the other option now. So will I not get the coupon now? I sent my application to get approved regardless.
I didn’t do instant either. Why would we not get coupon? We should. I should get my card this weekend. So I will know soon I guess.

After I applied it said that I should get their decision in the mail in the next 7 to 10 days, if I get accepted,will i still get the coupon,or you have to be accepted by tonight?
That happened to me the first time I applied. They sent a letter stating there was an error and I could reapply again.
I signed up. Says I’ll need to verify my bank account. Hopefully coupon comes with the debit card 🙂 This will pair nicely with our Coke Rewards target gift cards. My local target is an hour away, but for a nice deal, we can always squeeze in a shopping trip.

FYI, I have a RedCard (debit) on my primary checking account and applied for one for my secondary account, just to get the coupon. Denied. Apparently you can only have one (of the same type) card per SSN. Just a heads up!

I applied for debit card on the last day-7/27 and was instantly approved. I got the card today and no coupon. Did anyone else have this issue

They said it was approved in 7/27 and then they had to verify my bank acct which they did on 7/30 so that is why it didn’t come automatically.

My Son applied for one, and did not receive the coupon. He sent them a message through the manage RedCard site. Hopefully he can still get one.
I called and she had to put it in manually in system but she said mine is on the way
