I bought a big bag from the Kate Spade Surprise Sale here last time. And soon after, one of the gold bolts came out. And on the matching wallet, the clasp broke. This was within 2 weeks of getting my order. I don’t know if these things are factory seconds/discount items or what, but I was very disappointed. And all sales are final. So there was nothing I could do. I’ve never had an issue with anything bought from the “normal” Kate Spade site.

I would email them. They have a warranty and will replace or repair within a year. The final sale is for returns.

It is covered by one year warranty even it is final sale. Bring it to the near by store and they will give you a store credit. I have issue with my bag and they give me the credit back couple days ago

I had similar experience with a bag I bought on surprise sale. The bag’s top flap sits super crooked on the bottom and the magnetic snap doesn’t work well..
I believe you should be able to return it in their store for store credit

Some of the bags are made specifically for the factory stores, but Kate Spade is a great brand that stands behind their product. I would give them a call or go in the nearest store. I recently broke the handle off of my bag – purchased last September and it broke in July. It was regular $598, but I believe I paid $150ish. The store was able to locate the bag and reordered me a brand new one! Took less than a week to arrive – I have been super happy with their service. I have also heard if you are really not happy with your bag, you can receive store credit but I think itās one of those things they do if they think they are going to lose you as a customer. So I wouldnāt order like crazy and expect to receive a refund for all the bags you donāt care for. However, it has been my experience that they want their customers to be HAPPY!
Yes, Iāve never had any issue with any bags from their final sale either. Theyāre not factory seconds etc. theyāre the āreal Kate Spade bagsā They have too much of a solid reputation to need to try and scam customers. Any issues with any final sale items they will definitely help you out with.
