Do you know if the applicant is responsible for the expense of getting to the training (airfare, hotel)?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Michelle! I don’t find anything in the details on that. I have sent customer service a message asking for further details. I’ll be sure to let you know as soon as I get a response!

Michelle, applicants don’t get the training trip, only the people selected for the panel. Last year there was north of 15,000 to 20,000 applicants and there are only 20 panelists. You also need to pick your speciality – WDW, DCL, DLR, DVC, etc. If chosen, Disney pays for your whole trip.

Thanks so much for your helpful comment! We sure appreciate it!

        Thank you!

Yikes sounds like it’s not worth my time with those odds.
        Thanks

I am a Disney Cruise Line Expert AND Disneyland Resort EXPERT with over a decade as a passholder and our favorite cruise was a 12 day cruise to St. Kitts, Barbados, Martinique, Puerto Rico, Aruba and Castaway Cay. Our last cruise was in April. We weren’t able to make a cruise departing from Barcelona this summer because of some tenant drama. But we’ll be back on a ship soon. Our dear friend has been on over 25 Disney Cruises. AND we are ALL KID FREE! lol I’m going to let him know.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m going to apply.

How neat! You’re very welcome, Erika! Good luck!

There is a very small chance of getting on the panel, so I wouldn’t advertise this as a way to get a free trip. It’s a volunteer position that does not pay, other than a training trip and one trip later and does not include transportation to and from Walt Disney World.
