How to Score FREE 30-Days of T-Mobile Service | No Strings Attached
For a limited time and while supplies last, T-Mobile is offering new customers a chance to test out T-Mobile’s expanded LTE network for up to 30 days for FREE- all with your own phone, phone number and apps!
T-Mobile has added thousands of new towers and a million square miles of expanded LTE coverage so their newest signal reaches farther than ever before.
Follow these steps to set up your free T-Mobile Test Drive:
- If you are new to T-Mobile, simply head over HERE to sign up
- You’ll then receive a pocket-sized hotspot (shipped directly to you for FREE) to connect to your current phone to experience T-Mobile‘s network – no strings attached!
- The free trial will begin when you insert the SIM card into the hotspot device and activate it for the first time on the T-Mobile network.
- After 30-days or 30GB of data, whichever comes first, you can return the device to any T-Mobile store or pass it on to a friend!
Why is T-Mobile offering up this 30-day freebie?
84% of people want to try a wireless network before they buy. Yet, wireless is one of the only industries in the world that forces customers to buy before they try. T-Mobile is out to end this backward practice, so we’re giving everyone a chance to try T-Mobile’s expanded LTE network free for up to 30 days.
Has anyone tried this?
Ordered my free hotspot yesterday. 🙂
Glad to hear it! Hope you love it!
Thanks!
You’re so welcome!
Disappointing that it is only for new customers only. I was a customer 6 years ago. I left because of poor signal. I am sure their network has changed plenty during that time but am too afraid to make the switch back. This would have been a great opportunity for me to see if it was worth taking the dive.
Hmm, I’m wondering if you might still qualify as a new customer since it has been so long.
“Who is eligible?
Non-T-Mobile customers that have not participated in the trial within the last 6 months.”
I tried both mine and my husbands numbers. It said: This offer is only for new customers, but thanks for being an awesome part of T-Mobile!
Girl, I would call them and explain what you wrote above, if they really want your business back they are going to let you have the 30 day trial.
Darn! Thanks for the update!
We live in SE PA and haven’t had any local issues with T-Mobile, HOWEVER we spent 2 weeks in Maine (Acadia and Portland), NH, and VT this summer and there were so many totally dead spots. When phones did get reception, we could see it was using AT&T or a local network. Partway through our trip we found out we maxed our 2 free GB of roaming data and they wouldn’t let us stream anymore to use Waze. We have an unlimited data plan, but had not heard of the roaming limitation. Disappointing to say the least.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Kym! I live in southern PA and haven’t had any issues here locally with my TMobile service either.
This sounds too good to be true. Is there a catch?
Nope! This is available for new customers only. You can find more details through the link in the post. Hope that helps!
Their network has gotten some better but I still barely have service at home or at work. Downtown Little Rock is iffy. In my office my phone doesn’t work unless I go to my bosses office by the window and at home I need to stand in the road to get really good service. When I don’t have internet service I don’t have phone service either so I can’t get calls at work at all much less internet. My brothers have to call me on my work phone.
I have an old inactive phone. Ported that phone number to another phone. Do you think that this would work on the inactive phone to try the t mobile network? Thinking about it for my daughter.
Hmm, you could always double check with customer service to be sure. Hope that helps!
We have our phones with Verizon but are currently out of our contract (haven’t renewed yet & phones are paid for). How would we try this offer with T Mobile?
Click/follow the above link to sign up.
I just order one. Thank you so much!!!
You’re very welcome!
Do I have to return the device after the trial? I have another SIM card which I would like to use it with.
Yes, you do!
when I tried to use it today, Tmobile started porting my number to them. I didn’t read anywhere that I would have to port my number. What happens if I don’t like them? then I am stuck? ahhh no thanks
