For how long does it keep the drinks hot? Anyone tried?
Does the lid have a tight fit? That’s my biggest complaint with the cheaper versions is the lids leak or fall apart.
The lid has a tight fit and the coffee stays hot much longer then other mugs I’ve tried. I would definitely recommend this mug !
I’ve had mine for about 3 months and loved it but just this last week the lid just broke all apart

Does anyone know if these have a hole to place a straw and the lid?
It has a sliding closure for the whole which can fit a thin straw (I use stainless steel)
Crazy question but could I put Mac and cheese and that type of thing in these for my kids lunches? Would it stay hot?
I totally think you could do that, Becca. The lid has a very secure seal, but I will tell you I have had another of their cups for about a year now and the seal does get loose over time. It’s still pretty secure, but I bought a new one the other day from ALDI and I can tell the difference.
These were marked down to $3 at the Aldi near me (Ashburn, VA)
It can’t be stainless steel if a magnet will not adhere to it. I like the mug, but it is NOT stainless steel.
Is it really dishwasher safe?
Bought this Crofton 14oz mug at my local Aldi. I have a Yeti, so I did a little experiment…… I ran water through my coffee brewer and filled both my Yeti and Crofton mug with the hot water. Place both mugs in the freezer for 30 minute, checked water temp with a thermometer. There was no difference in the water temperature So, buy the Crofton and save yourself $20.00!!

So- I just bought my Crofton mug. But, I do have another off brand mug that I use. My sister uses a Yeti. And, I think the test is more about leaving both cups out to see how long the liquid stays hot or cold. When I boiled water and placed into both cups, and left the on the dresser, hours later, the water in the yeti was considerably hotter than the water in the other cup. I’m going to try that with this Crofton and the Yeti.
There was only one on the shelf at the Aldi in Victoria Texas….I bought it not knowing that a lid came with it…realized it when it scanned mug with lid….I really wanted one…are there replacement lids available?
Have you found any luck with a replacement lid? I bought the 24 oz canteen and broke my lid. Struggling to find anything online!
I absolutely love this mug. I use it everyday. This is the first mug I have found that keeps my coffee warm. I typically do not use the lid unless I am driving and it has saved me from getting spills! I would love to have another since the one I have is bright orange. It has been great for the fall but I would love a more neutral color. Please restock these Aldi!!! *also if anyone finds these please let us know!
Do not buy these mugs. Advertised as being safe to put in dishwasher; however, over time the paint begins to chip off. Very unsightly! I’ve even tried soaking one mug in paint thinner to remove the painted portion. Has not worked.
I bought 2 at Aldis a year or so ago and I’d like to buy more!! Now they don’t have them! Where can I find these to purchase?? any ideas?

The lids break easily. The seal falls apart or the sliding closure comes apart. Other than that, the mugs keep hot drinks hot for a long time.
Need 4 replace.ent lids.

Still have mine love it. Is there replacement lids I can buy? The piece that lift up and down broke and I have not been happy with anything else. Love the fact it has a handle. It’s the 160z tall
