Amazon Introduces More Than 20 New Fire TV Products
Amazon just revealed more than 20 new Fire TV products including an all-new Fire TV Cube, a new Fire TV Stick, an Alexa Voice Remote, and more.
Speaking from a trade show in Berlin, Amazon Fire TV vice president Marc Whitten said,
This marks the biggest announcement for Fire TV to date, with more than 20 new Fire TV products available across North America and Europe. It’s still just day 1 for Fire TV as we work to make customers’ entertainment experiences easier, more magical, and more enjoyable.
News of the second-generation Fire TV Cube was one of Amazon’s most noteworthy recent announcements. Like the original Fire TV Cube, this second-generation device will be enabled with Alexa for home automation but this newer version will be upgraded to feature local voice control for quicker execution of the most common voice commands.
Amazon also shared that the second-generation Fire TV Cube’s Hexa-core processor will make it more than twice as powerful as the first-generation device, and up to four times faster. It will offer instant access to Dolby Vision and 4K Ultra HD content at up to 60 frames per second.
The all-new Fire TV Cube is available for pre-order now for $119.99 shipped and will begin shipping on October 10th. Customers who pre-order can also get a 90-day free trial of Amazon’s Music Unlimited, a premium music subscription service.
Among Amazon’s other new products is its first-ever Fire TV Edition Nebula soundbar. This soundbar is available for pre-order now and will ship on November 21st for $229.99. Also coming – a Toshiba 65-inch 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV with HDR (Fire TV Edition) which will be sold at Best Buy for $599 starting next month.

It would be nice if the existing products worked before they create new products.
That soundbar sounds like poop to me. None of the latest audio standards are supported (DTS-HD Master or Atmos TrueHD). I just love paying for already outdated technology
