I have the heart shaped one. Let me tell you, I made 24 of the mini waffles in a row to freeze up. It never got that hot plastic smell and it stayed even temperature the whole time, though I didn’t shut it off. I just sprayed a little oil before each waffle and they didn’t burn, cook unevenly, nor stick. It still works. Very good for the price.
I got a dash snowflake one and it works like a charm. One side you get a snowflake and the other side it’s just a regular waffle.I even tried with different batters and it was still non stick evenly cooked.
