Hasbro Expands Play-Doh Brand with Slime and Other New Compounds – Coming October 1st
More squishy fun is coming soon from Hasbro!
Play-Doh recently announced plans to release five new compounds this fall. Starting October 1st, an assortment of new textures will join the line of classic “Doh” – including Slime, Cloud, Krackle, Putty, and Foam.
According to the Play-Doh’s VP of global brand marketing, this new line of compounds is “a natural expansion” of the classic brand and the aim is “to create new tactile and sensory experiences.”
1. Play-Doh Slime
Play-Doh slime will be sold in single or three-packs of pre-made slime with a metallic shimmer. It will come in recyclable containers with lids for storage and reuse.
2. Play-Doh Putty
Play-Doh Putty provides a tactile experience that kids can squish and squash every which way. It comes in a metal tin for storage.
3. Play-Doh Slime Krackle
Play-Doh Slime Krackle has small, colorful beads that give the product an interesting texture and provide a satisfying sensory experience.
4. Play-Doh Slime Super Cloud
Play-Doh Slime Super Cloud has a soft and light texture. This fluffy, puffy compound comes in four colors with resealable containers and lids for storage.
5. Play-Doh Foam
Play-Doh Foam has a squishy, yet firm texture that will keep the shapes users create.
These products, designed for kids ages 3 and older, will be available in the U.S. beginning October 1. They will range in price from $1.49 to $9.99 at select retailers like Amazon, Five Below, JoAnn, Meijer, and Target.
This looks cool!
Until I know that any of this washes out of clothes and carpet easily, it won’t be entering our house.
Lol my thoughts exactly! 🤣 I still can’t get the slime out!
Exactly my thoughts.
Agree!
