You don’t need a 5 gallon bottle. You have option of 1 gallon size or 5 gallon size at primo/glacier dispenser. All my cvs stores have them outside of their stores.
Do you need to buy a jug or what kind of containers do you need to get a refill?
On their website it says, you can fill any jug or container you have.

Thank You. I received the free gift card previously and was later contacted by the company and offered another gift card in exchange for a review of the product. (Not a public posted review somewhere just a review telling the company about the product and dispenser site.) For those asking you can use any jug that will fit into the shelf of the machine. The machine dispenses the water as either one gallon or five gallons based on whichever you choose. I just use empty gallon jugs (like milk jugs).

wish they would issue giftcards that can be used to purchase their water at any of their locations. all my refill stations are indoor, so we pay for our water at the cash register. These only work for outdoor locations, which sadly, there are non in our city 🙁

The Primo dispensers in my area sell a 1-gallon fill-up for $0.35 and a 5-gallon fill-up for $1.75. I only have 5-gallon refillable containers, so I can get 2 full bottles. The only thing I don’t like about the gift card is if it has a balance, the machine wouldn’t allow you to use the gift card balance and pay the difference. What a bummer! 🙁
