Seven years ago I bought the deluxe set for my then 3 year old daughter. We have since added another child and every Christmas they love playing with this. I would love to add the other pieces to it but tbey are so expensive on Ebay.

YES! Buy the “deluxe” set. We have bought this set for all 3 of our young families (generally for the oldest grandchild’s 2nd Christmas). It’s a perfect nativity for little people….& still being used by the 13 year old. And lots of singing of “Away in the Manger.” We even pick up more animals & “village” people at Garage sales. The only thing missing are the shepherds (and they are important to Jesus’ birth story!), so that’s a great “add-on” for another Christmas.
