Here’s what Hip2Save readers say about these dishes…
We love our Gibson set! It has survived over 5 years of daily use including our toddler’s occasional use. Only 2 plates have chipped/broken and that was due to dropping them in the pavement in morning rushes without paper or plastic to take along instead!
I purchased these dishes two years ago and they have been great. No chips or scratches and they do well in the dishwasher!
I also have the square set and everyone that comes over for dinner always compliments it!

I have this set and love it. I have three children 10, 9 and 7. These dishes have survived their rough handling. Only two plates have a chip but not bad considering they go in the dishwasher EVERY day. I’m considering getting another set to stockpile ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Oh cool! Good to know how well this set has been holding up for your family! I may need to grab them!
I have 2 of these sets. I love that there are 3 sizes of plates, 3 sizes of bowls and NO MUGS.
Are these plates heavy?
I have the square ones and the largest size plates are quite heavy.
Thanks, just got 2 sets. We’ve always just had a mismatched group of different hand me down plates. I’m excited to finally replace them all with an actual set!
Aww, SO glad you could snag a full matching set on the cheap! You’re very welcome!
I bought 2 sets of the Lexington ones back in June, when Hip2Save posted a sale on dishes at Macy’s. We have a family of 4. So I took 8 place setting out of the boxes. I packed everything else up and placed it in my pantry for backups unless any breaks occur. So far these have been wonderful. I wash them in the dishwasher everyday. My kids help with the loading and unloading and so far no breaks. We love the littlest bowels for ketschup or ranch.
Those little bowls sure are adorable! Thanks so much for your feedback, Lisa! Happy you have been loving them so far!
So what is everyone’s favorite design on the plate and bowl sets?
These are so pretty that I’m tempted to buy a set or two 😉
If you have kids the bowls are great. Tons of them in different sizes we got two sets and use the bowls like crazy even the dipping bowls are handy
Thanks for letting us know about the bowls, bobo! It’s cool that there are several sizes!
I bought a set of these a year ago because the design looks very Celtic. You get a lot of plates and bowls in a variety of sizes. I’ve recently noticed they have started to chip on the edges of the plates and on the outside of the bowls
Oh darn! SO sorry they are beginning to chip. Thanks so much for the honest comment. We sure appreciate it!
I have 2 of these sets and love them!! They hold up so well and they’re beautiful!
I agree! These sure are pretty! Thanks for letting us know how much you have been loving them!
I’m moving overseas soon and thought it was time to replace my 13 year old dinner set, so this is perfect! Thank you!!
Can anyone who already has these comment as to whether they get hot in the microwave? I thought porcelain wasn’t supposed to get hot in the microwave like stoneware does, but a couple of reviewers said they do?
