McDonald’s Throwback Toys Now In Happy Meals | Ends 11/11
Restaurants are always coming up with fun surprises!
Through November 11th or while supplies last, McDonald’s is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their very first Happy Meal with a special edition surprise Happy Meal!
Each Happy Meal will feature one of the most popular toys of the past 40 years. Participating McDonald’s restaurants in over 90 countries around the world will be celebrating with these special Happy Meals. Families worldwide can collect one of the fifteen iconic toys, while U.S. customers may find two additional limited-edition toys from Disney.
The toys featured inside will include a mix of classic characters like Grimace and the Hamburgler along with toys that were trendy at various moments in time (Space Jam Bugs Bunny, Tomagotchi, and Furby, for example). McDonald’s is giving us a more detailed look at the Surprise Happy Meal toy lineup here.

Wow, they aren’t back for long
I’ve got a bunch of the Ty Beanie Babies still in the plastic bags from before. Anyone know if they are worth anything?
I have the TY from 20 years ago too, but I don’t think they are worth much but they are sure cute so I couldn’t part with them anyway! I’m heading to McDonalds now after seeing this, I hope my store has some TY, thanks H2S for posting!
If they aren’t worth anything or you’re looking to part with them, I’m sure a local teacher would love them for their class treasure box
Went last night and got that TY platypus shown in the post image and a Furby. What’s everyone else gotten?

We got the two “transformers”, hamburglar, and the Dalmatian driving a car! I was so excited but I loved seeing how excited my son was over the hamburglar :0)
We got a Cowboy McNugget (so cute, but his hat won’t stay on), the Mickey Mouse, and the spinning Bugs Bunny. It was a fun treat, and the kids loved the blind bag concept. I purchased the $25 gift card deal (free 10-piece nuggets!) before we bought our meal, plus used deals from the app, so we fed our family of 5 for just $20.
I went today and got some hello kitty toy… definitely not a throwback 🙁
I took my kiddos there for lunch today! We got the platypus and the little happy meal that transforms into a dinosaur. Really cute.
I got 2 tonight, the Mickey Sorcerer & Bugs Bunny playing basketball (from Space Jam)!
Got all 3 McNugget Buddies! My friend used to have every single one when we were kids, and I was so jealous!

I’m so sorry I didn’t see this sooner! I remember that the cowboy is number 2, and I think the mailman may have been number three. I’m pretty sure it’s #1 or #3, and they let me feel the packages to tell which one was which. All the McNuggets have a date of 1988 on the packages. I’m truly sorry that I wasn’t paying closer attention!
I want the My Little Pony! 🙁 I wonder if they will let me feel the bags to find one?? LOL 😀

No throwback for us. 🙁 Kid asked for a Happy Meal, which we don’t usually get, and I said sure because of the Throwback deal. :/

Just happened to run through the drive thru today and my boys got the happy meal that turns into a dinosaur and the Mickey. They were pretty excited about them. Bummed they are only going to be around a few more days. You can buy the toys without the happy meal. I believe they charge $1 a toy and some locations have just given me the toys no charge!
