I bought the 8-pack yesterday on a whim. I’ve always wanted to have the fun of Nerf guns with my kids, but could never justify the cost of supplying everyone in a family of five with their own. This did not disappoint!! We were staying at a hotel and needed to kill some time and put little boxes and bottles of toiletries on the top of a doorway trim and tried to knock them off. 6 year-old twin boys and 8 year-old daughter had the time of their lives as did husband and myself. These tiny blasters can shoot the darts up to 90 feet… unbelievable power packed in a tiny toy! This was an incredible value.
Do you think younger kids can use them? We usually have to pull back the reload piece for our 4yo which kills the fun a bit. These look extra fun!
I’ve seen mixed reviews on this. Just depends on the kid, really. My boys just turned six and I worried they’d struggle because they are a bit on the weak and awkward side, but they had no problems. I’ve seen reviews say kids as old as 7 and 9 struggled with it (though I’d have to say that must be very rare). I’m not sure how other Nerf blasters arm, so it’s hard to say if this would be any different, but it does take a good, strong pull.
