Wendy’s Celebrates 50th Birthday With a New Birthday Cake Frosty Cookie Sundae!
Wendy’s is celebrating its 50th birthday with a treat for us! 🎉🎁🎂
On November 15, 1969, Dave Thomas opened the first Wendy’s in Columbus, Ohio. What started as just one hamburger joint grew over the span of 50 years to become a fixture in the fast-food restaurant industry, with over 6,700 locations today.
In celebration of its 50th birthday, Wendy’s has added two new frozen treats to its menu. The first is a Birthday Cake Frosty, which consists of the chain’s famous vanilla Frosty mixed with the flavor of a classic birthday cake.
Wendy’s has also added a Birthday Cake Frosty Cookie Sundae to its menu, which the chain describes as “a birthday party in a cup.” This dessert features the new Birthday Cake Frosty topped with sugar cookie pieces and sprinkles. YUM!
Both of these celebratory treats are available at participating Wendy’s locations for a limited time only.
Take a night off from the kitchen with one of these restaurant deals!
The birthday cake frosty is gluten free. Woohoo.
It is a flavored frosty, Wendys would have to go completely out of their way to have gluten in it. It’s completely impossible. Now if the sugar cookies on the sundae were gluten-free that would be good news.
Impossible is a strong word. You’d be surprised in the places we find gluten!
Do you know if it’s Celiac safe?
How much is it?
My local is $1.19
This has replaced the vanilla flavor at our Wendy’s. Just chocolate and birthday cake are available for now.
