ICE! at Gaylord Hotels is such a popular attraction that it often sells out during peak times, especially in warmer climates where people are hungry for a taste of winter. If you’d like to go, we recommend reserving your tickets early and bundling up to enjoy this wintry experience! This attraction is kept at a chilly 9º Fahrenheit to make sure that the ice stays frozen.
Although parkas are provided for guests to wear, Hip2Save team member Kimberly recommends bundling up with your own hats, gloves, and warm layers. This may require a little extra planning, especially if you’re visiting a location in one of the warmer climates, but it’s well worth the effort according to Kimberly. She loved her experience at ICE! at Gaylord Palms in Orlando.
Now through January 5th, enjoy 25% off your order of up to 10 ICE! tickets when you use the code MBICE19 at checkout! This exclusive offer is valid for advanced online purchases at all five ICE! locations. Some exclusions apply.
This offer is not valid with any other offer and is subject to availability. Other restrictions apply. Visit the Gaylord Hotels website for all the details and to reserve your tickets today!

25% off
Hi there! Here are the details for that offer – “enjoy 25% off your order of up to 10 ICE! tickets when you use the code HIP2SAVE at checkout! ” Hope that helps!
You guys are amazing!! We are visiting family this weekend in Nashville and we always take the kids to see ICE!! I was just looking up tickets the other day. Perfect timing 🙂
Oh awesome! You’re so welcome, Leila! Thanks for the sweet comment! Hope you have a wonderful time!
We are staying at the one in Nashville Dec. 30th and had not yet purchase our tickets to ICE!. This is a great deal and will be purchasing them tonight. Thank you Hip2Save 🙂
How fun! You’re SO welcome, Mary! Enjoy!
Can I use this with the bundle? I wanted the gold passes.
Took 3-year-old son last year in Dallas, and he loved it. Tip- wear ski gloves. I only brought basic knit gloves for myself and my hands were so cold they were hurting. Were ok in coat pockets, but I needed my hands to take pics. Hats too! We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Atrium was beautifully decorated. Son had just as much fun exploring the atrium as Ice itself. Spent another day visiting Grapevine, Tx. Very charming!
I went a few years ago to the Ft. Worth location. It is extremely beautiful bit VERY cold. Wear as many layers as you can. My hands/feet were numb, even with gloves. Great experience though!
Looks like fun! There isn’t one of these near me, but we have an ice palace most years in Minnesota!
FYI- if you’re going to the one in Nashville Sunday-Thursday, tickets are 39% off on groupon.
Thank you so much for posting this. Better deal for my large family visiting Nashville the week of Thanksgiving.
Is anyone else having trouble getting it to actually accept the discount code? I’ve entered it several times and it never changes the price….
Darn! It will not apply with any other offers. If still having trouble, maybe try a different browser. Hoping you can grab the savings soon!
Remember to research parking fees and add on pricing (snowballs, scavenger hunts) before going so you know the true price of your day!
It is next to Opry Mills mall. You can park there free and walk over. So that saves on parking.
I haven’t had time to really search these properties. We’d be looking at either the MD location or FL. MD would be closer, but I remember parking being really high near the harbor etc. Any opinions of either location? Heads up on additional costs…. thanks readers! Hoping to use the discount code soon:)
I’ve been to three locations (used to live in NoVa, now live in Fl, visited Nashville a couple years back) and yes, parking is high at both MD and FL locations; don’t remember National Harbor anymore, but it’s about $25 in Florida ($20 if you prepay) and there aren’t really any alternatives as Gaylord Palms is pretty isolated. I think in terms of level of decor, it’s impeccable at all the hotels and you won’t be disappointed. Costs are going to depend on what you want to do – we usually stick to just the ICE! exhibit, the scavenger hunt (as all 3 kids can share the book and work together), and the snow tubing (a fave, as my kids, since coming of age, have never lived anywhere it snows), and that still rings in at about $240 for 5 people (that’s using the 20% off bundle, I can’t see that they allow you to use the H2S promo on a combo; yes, it makes me want to faint, too). In case you weren’t aware, the ICE! exhibits rotate through the hotels, so you might want to check out the theming to make your final decision since all of the activities are more or less the same. It’s the Grinch at National and Polar Express at the Palms. HTH.
If you end up going to the Fl location, go through Groupon instead. There’s currently a promo for combo Ice/snow tubing tickets and I was able to get 5 combo tix (3 child, 2 adult) for $164 (it’s $147 if you’re a Groupon Select member) and I’ll buy parking and the scavenger book when I get there. Much cheaper than the $230+ I was quoted on the website.
I’ve been to the one in Nashville, Great experience and lots of fun! Definitely worth going to.
Oh my gosh thank you!! We were planning on going again!! YAY!
How fun! You are welcome, Sarah!
Here’s an even better cotton for the Nashville one https://storage.googleapis.com/media.mwcradio.com/flatterpages/ICE_Coupon_abyJWWk.pdf
It’s cheaper on Groupon (example, comparing Friday 11/29 at Orlando location). I believe Groupon Select does get extra 10% discount (regular coupon code won’t apply).
Thank you for this. Saved me some major bucks! I splurged for the Groupon Select since it got me another $17 off – I’ll only need to save $10 more on other offers to break even, which will be easy over the course of 6 months.
When does the code expire?
Never mind, I see it now! 😄
Has anyone gone in Nashville but stayed somewhere else? $249/night is steep!
I booked last week through a flash sale on the website for $189 a night. Still $500 for 2 nights including taxes and fees, though!
Why does it say affiliate once it unlocks the offer?
You can read more about that here.
Dress WARM!!!
I’d love to go but can’t figure out why you need to choose a time of day to go? Can you only visit for a certain number of hours?
It’s to keep the lines down. Once you go in, you can stay as long as you want. But it’s 9 degrees in there – I think we’re always in and out in under 30 minutes because it’s miserably cold. I don’t love it, but my son wants to go back again for his birthday. If you don’t live in a location that gets snow (I’m in Fl), the snow tubing is fun and is always my kids’ favorite part of the day.
And to clarify, the time slot is only for entering the Ice! Exhibit. Many of the other activities (aside from storytelling, light and cirque shows, obviously) are at your leisure.
Just purchashed on sunday the hotel ticket for thursday will i still be avail this deal?
Has the promotion ended? I have tried to add each code separately (as to compare cost with each code) and the price doesn’t change with either one.
Just went through Polar Express at Gaylord Palms an hour ago, it was incredible. Close second to a Christmas Story last year. We’ve been doing this for 11 years it is so worth it!
I went a few years ago and was told if I didn’t wear their coat, I couldn’t go on the ice slide.
Hello
Is there a way to add tubing game after ticket purchase?
how can i upgrade (Fortworth) tube game?
What is included in the admission price? Anything?
