So once everyone pays the membership how would the company even be viable?

  2. Dero82

FYI, this is only for new members…not existing

Hi there! I looks like if you are on the monthly membership, you can just upgrade it to the lifetime. Hoping that helps!

      • Dero82

Hi Amber, unfortunately no. You cannot use this code to o upgrade your account. They have this deal every year and we have been with Plex for over 5 years. You cannot use this code if you are an existing customer.

Does anyone use this? Is this a viable substitute for cable?

    • Adam

Use it for years. Not particularly. It is better for someone is supplying their own media. Their are streaming channels you can add that would be considered more cord cutting. Plex can actually stream live cable or OTA tv, as long as you have the right network based tuner. I still have Comcast, but I can send any of my channels anywhere, as well as record.

Do you know if this deal will come out again? I missed it
