I had my nordic trac for 10 years and paid about the same as this one. This summer we put it in our garage (TX heat) and the plastic where the tread is snapped in half. That was our fault. This treadmill would have lasted us much longer had it not been put in the heat. I plan to buy another nordic trac. Well worth the money for anyone looking. We never had issues with it and it held up through 3 military moves.
I want to add that I purchased mine straight through Nordic track’s website. I don’t always trust Amazon.

I had a NordicTrack that lasted about 6 years and then it wouldn’t turn on. Overall pleased with the product so last Christmas I purchased this directly from the NT website with extended warranty. 2 months later the keys all stopped working. Customer service and tech support were ridiculous (months of back & forth & they sent a new “motherboard” & told me to install it myself or wait 6 months for a tech). Needless to say the very last NordicTrack I’ll ever purchase.
That’s awful. I wonder if the newer models aren’t as good? Mine never had a single issue. It was an amazing treadmill. I purchased back in 2009. It broke at my fault this summer. It ran beautifully. I’m considering a row machine this go around.
