We have this and love it!
That’s great to hear! Thanks, Marcie!
What do you use?? What have had nothing but bad luck 😢
I crush up hard candy or fruit flavored candy canes. We love our cotton candy maker too! So fun and a big hit with the kids.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/Nostalgia-CCFS300-Cotton-Candy-Flossing-Sugar/46999824 We have also used life savers and candy canes too.
We bought this last year on sale and my kids love it. We bought another one for a Christmas party where you had to bring a gender neutral gift. It got fought over so it was a win. 😊
That sounds like it was a huge hit, Sarah!
We have one and we love it too. Let me just warn you this does not give you a lot of candy. (If you are thinking you can make a big fair/circus bag in 10 minutes, this is not the machine for you.) That being said, it is great for home use and fairly easy to clean.
Thanks for giving us the info on how this works, Lisa!
How does it work? WhAt do you need to make the cotton candy?
We have this and all our kids love it!
Just bought this. For the folks that have and love it, what do you use? Hard candy? Sugar? What’s the best flavor you’ve found?
We tend to stick to the sugar. My kids love the blue raspberry flavor. Amazon has tons of flavors and the paper cones to wrap that cotton candy around. However it take a while to make. I have three kids and if they want seconds I’m there for a bit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We tried jolly rancher but the results were as great. So best to use the sugar (amazon)
We use Life Savers and the sugar free hard candy from Dollar Tree. Just make sure they are evenly spaced around the inner circle so it stays in balance. We like using Life Savers even more than the sugar that came with it.
I agree, I have had better luck with hard candy (crush it up in a Ziploc bag). A little goes a long way.
Thank you everyone 🙂
We have this too and love it. We have the best success with just sugar. Definitely worth buying.
I’d probably use the organic candies with this. Thanks for the feedback!
