On the fence?! Check out these reviews…
Bar Keepers Friend is truly a friend to the one cleaning dishes by hand and foe to the carbon build-up on the back of the pots and pans. I wish we could find a similar product for the dishwasher.
I specifically purchased this item to polish some tarnished zippers on a few of my bags. Let me say that this product worked wonders…especially for the price! It really brought my zippers back to life.
I purchased this item after reading that it can remove permanent marker from surfaces (my son was working on a school project and got Sharpie markings on my dining table), and it worked! I was so amazed! Also great for sticky surfaces. As long as I have little people to clean up after, I will keep a bottle of this around the house.

This stuff is excellent for removing gray silverware marks from dishes, especially Fiesta ware.
Ooh! Great tip! Good to know! Thanks so much for sharing with us!
This stuff is AMAZING. I use it on all my stainless steel cookware. It makes everything look brand new. This is one of my absolute favorite cleaning products
Oh wow! I’ll have to remember that! Thanks for commenting!
Just bought some this year–my sink looks brand new–I can’t believe how good it is and how I don’t have to scrub!! Wish I had invented it! I would pay $10 for a can! 🙂
SWEET! Thanks so much for the feedback!
My husband is SO funny when he uses this on a copper bottom pot. He always says, “Watch this.” Before he starts to scrub.😁 He LOVES this product.
Too funny! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I have used this to get sharpie marker off of my kitchen cabinets when one of my grandchildren left their “artwork” there for me. Lol
Oh wow! Thanks for the tip, Mary! Good to know it has removed sharpie marks!
Would this work on buildup in a tile shower?
I’ve had the best luck with zep tub and tile cleaner… (extra hard water and soap scum here) and use any kind of brush with it on the grout. Works great!
It does work great on tile and glass. Sometimes I go back and forth between powder and liquid. The trick is to let it sit a bit before scrubbing with whatever you have on hand. There’s a limit to how much it cleans the grout though if you have mildew.
Jen S regarding Zep cleaner – do you use the blue and white bottle or yellow abs purple bottle?
Purple and yellow bottle. Haven’t tried the foaming versions (yet).
I use this one everything the bottom of pans to make them skinny again, tub to get build up off, glass stove, fridge, scuff marks of of trim ect…
Wonder what I did wrong cuz it made my glass top stove 10 times worse!
This stuff works amazing on my stove top!
Thanks, Klp!
Walmart price is $20+ not $2
If u click the link add it to your cart it is $2.32
I have hard water stains on my fridge from the water dispenser. Would this work on that?
Its works on a lot of different surfaces but it could harm some painted surfaces etc. It’s worth a shot to get some and test it on a small area though. Even if it doesn’t work for that, I guarantee you’ll find a use for it.
Yeah, that’s what I’m worried about. I have the bar keeper’s friend powder. I wonder if the liquid cleanser is less abrasive?
I have both the liquid and the powder versions. They are basically the same thing. If it’s something you wouldn’t trust using the powder on, I wouldn’t try the liquid either. Hope that helps
I like lemishine for mineral stains. I make a bit of paste/concentrated solution and let it sit. If it is on an incline, I soak a sponge with it and cover.
This cleans hard water stains on glass like none other!! I love it.
That’s awesome! Thanks, Jill!
