When they started Cereals were for breakfast, an easy and healthy start. Now they are highly processed with lots of sugar and candies.

But Dr. John Harvey Kellog, the inventor of corn flakes, did not care about profits. For him, cereal was not just a health food because it would improve Americans digestion. He believed a diet centered on bland foods like cereal would lead Americans away from sin.

      Agree

Why not just feed your kids an entire bowl of sugar for breakfast?

  3. Bryant

Growing up, I was always told cereal was a bowl of sugar but this is just getting out of control.

  4. lindak

Wow, kids will have health problems quickly if they eat this stuff. Really disappointed in General Mills and Hersheys. And, I see Jolly Rancher cereal in the photo too?? I’ll stick with my Shredded Wheat.

Competition to sell cereal is fierce. I say everything in moderation 😋

  6. MsAnnie

I agree the sugar content is ridiculous. I’ll stick with my regular Cheerios or Oatmeal with fruit.

My daughter and I saw this in the store for the first time today. She said it looks like a bowl of poo! I’m still laughing 😂

  8. memryred

I know the sugar content is ridiculous and it’s not a healthy choice but I tried it the other night as a snack and it was pretty darn good 😊

  9. CECE

I would like to try this as snack, but this is not for my kiddos. Sorry

  10. Huntbug

This looks good and I’m sure my kids will love it. I have no problem feeding this to my kids you only live once, they are only young for so long and really everything in moderation just be smart!!

So sad, another attempt to keep us unhealthy. It’s all about the money, no concern for people’s health. It would make for a good snack on occasion, but even then..it’s just processed and full of chemicals and additives contributing to cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. Please be wise in products you buy and consume these days. Stick to organic produce, and consume as much whole foods as possible. Stay well you all!

Omg….these comments. Folks, it’s just cereal. No worse that any other kids cereal on the market. If it’s not for you just keep scrolling. As for us…I bet it would taste fabulous mixed with Peanut Butter Caption Crunch! Yum!!

I have been eating Hershey’s Cookies and Cream Cereal this past week. I add in about 1 tsp. of baking cocoa to make it extra chocolatety. I also add in about 10-15 semi-sweet chocolate morsels. It is soooo good! I know it is not the most healthy, but….. I justify it because cocoa is good for you (antioxidents) and I have replaced my normal cup of coffee (with cream and sugar) with this chocolatety cereal delight! 🙂

This looks yummy. My kids love Hershey’s, so we might get this. Yes, we only live once, that’s why we have to appreciate things (and people) in our lives. Just be smart and balance everything. We alternate between this kind of “treats” with healthier options. I buy organics whenever there’s a promotion but I don’t have the luxury/budget to stick with everything organics. Even some fruits have high sugar contents. True they’re natural compare to this kind of stuff. But my motto is take everything in moderation. So I can enjoy my life ☺️

You’re welcome, Rachel! Thanks for the kind comment. Hope you enjoy it!

Wish these companies would stop doing this they take advantage of people who don’t know any better. This is a treat not Breakfast. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️
