I’d love to try Persil and with all of my son’s allergies I’m afraid to buy a big pack to try it but it’s just not worth giving Joe Schmoe all of that info for a sample.

hope this helps — i would not risk the price of full-sized pack if you have allergies in your household. Persil is so SO strong. i have no allergies in our house, but we still could not use it, it reeked so strongly of chemical fragrance. the perfume on the clothes lasts for many weeks, and consistently gave me a headache when i tried to wear the clothes after washing them in Persil. i was glad mine was only a sample.
i prefer Arm & Hammer or 7th Gen, those are nice and gentle and don’t have a lingering odor.
This was my experience, as well. The scent is overpowering and makes me feel ill.
I love Persil – both the scent and its cleaning power (to cut costs I mostly use it as a pre-treater or for loads that need cleaning rather than just refreshing) but I have to agree with the others that it does have a very strong scent that probably wouldn’t be good for allergies. If you still want to try it, I have found trial size bottles for just a few dollars at Target and they usually include a nice coupon for the full size bottle if you do like it.

I like Persil for our everyday clothes, but be warned, it has eaten our more delicate pieces. I thought for sure it was a fluke, but I risked some more pieces of clothing and it was in shreds with Persil and not with Tide.

I absolutely LOVE Persil pods!!! It’s the only detergent I buy, regardless of price!!!! Actually I sometimes find extreme couponers on the marketplace and get a great deal on packs of pods!!!!
