Ooh-good one for handing out class Valentines, thank you!

    • Liza (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome, Margaret!

I used to buy these, too, and then it dawned on me that if somebody gives you free or cheap junk for your kids, the best choice is not to take it. Setting them up with an addiction to processed, high-sugar foods for life benefits only the manufacturers. Just my 2 cents.

    • tia in boise

      better than candy?

    • Jess

I’m more of a to each their own, type of mom. If your kids only eat organic then good for you. If your kids eat ramen noodles and Kool aid then good for you. If your diet is in between then good for you. We are all in different seasons of life with different ideas of what is best for our children and that is ok.

      • Joan

I love your philosophy. “To each their own”.

    • Erin

Hopefully it’s a treat rather than a food group. Moderation in all things. Kids who are rigidly restricted tend to go wild when their parents aren’t around. Incidentally, Krogers run in-store specials based on what they happen to be overstocked on. I’m betting that’s the case here.

  3. Brenda

I think I’m missing something, doesn’t the 1.00 off digital coupon bring it down to .99 cents not free?

    • April

I got these at my Kroger store and it brought them down to $0.99 with the coupon.

      • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey, April. It’s only the Toy Story 4 and Frozen 2 ones that I found for $1. All the rest are $1.99 and drop to 99Β’ – still a great buy!

      • Jess

I bought frozen, toy story, and others….they all rung up $1 after coupon. The coupon didn’t make any of them free.

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Different regions may have different prices, Jess. $1 is a great price for them though!

    • bjwebster

The post states that fruit snacks are only $1.00, so they would be free after the coupon. The fruit roll ups would be $0.99.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Most of these fruit snacks are on sale for $1.99, Brenda, so yes those would be 99Β’ after coupon but JUST the Toy Story and Frozen 2 fruit snacks are on sale for just $1. AND the coupon works so it made those free!

      • Brenda

Thank you, sorry I missed that.

  4. Tilly

Fruit snacks have a long shelf life and fit in Easter eggs. Just in case you’d like to stock up for April.

  5. Kristen

This may be regional, at my Kroger in North Texas yesterday the Frozen and Toy Story ones were .99 cents after coupon, I double checked my receipt to be sure. Still a decent deal but not as good as free!

    • Danielle A

I think so too. Mine are on sale for $1.99 – $1.00 coupon is still $.99. A good deal but not free 😞. (In MI)

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey Kristen- howdy neighbor! You may be right, but these pics are from my store in Wylie, TX if that helps!

    • Erin

Not in Richmond, Va., either. Might be a store-specific deal.

  6. Sherri

$.99 after coupon in my ohio store.

  7. Jess

So if the coupon is $1off / 5X…and I purchase 5 does that mean it will only deduct $1 for all 5 items?

    • Lo

No. It’s $1 for each up to 5 times. So buy 3 gets $3 off. 2 so $2 off
Can only use the coupon one time tho.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It will take $1 off each box, so you can save $5 if you buy 5 items, Jess!

      • Jess

Thanks Ladies! appreciate the clarification, was a confusing moment! I will go right after work and check this out! πŸ™‚

  8. Jackie

Mine were $1.99 and with digital coupon .99. So I agree with the others it depends where you are. They had the frozen and toy story also got $1.99 before digital coupon. Still $0.99 is a good deal, not as good as free but still good πŸ˜‰

  9. Jess

I’m in DFW and they were $1 after coupon and I got the right ones in the post

  10. Amy

Not valid in Indiana. They are $.99 after the coupon.

  11. Mark

    FYI – Ralph’s [a sister store of Kroger] – has these $2.49 – $1 digital = $1.49 [in So Cal]
