Amazon Offering Free Streaming of Children’s Shows for Everyone (No Prime Membership Needed)
Amazon is opening up free streaming of select children’s content to everyone!
To help keep kids entertained during coronavirus closures, Amazon is now offering free streaming access to select children’s shows including a selection of both original and acquired content.
These TV shows and movies are free to anyone with an Amazon account – no Prime membership required!
To see all the free children’s programming available, simply sign in to your Amazon account and head on over here. There, you’ll find free episodes of Amazon originals that were previously only available to Prime members.
Amazon is also offering select episodes of PBS shows for kids, including Arthur, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, Odd Squad, and more. Additionally, Amazon has partnered with IMDb TV to offer over 80 family-friendly movies for free with ads, including classics like Shrek, Free Willy, and Stuart Little.
To access this content for free, all you need is an Amazon account, which you already have if you’ve ever purchased anything from Amazon. If you looking for even more content, try a FREE 30-day trial of Amazon Prime!
Amazon FreeTime Unlimited 3-Month Family Membership ONLY 99¢ (Regularly $30)!
Perhaps someone can help clarifying for me. On the free children shows, are the free ones normally for prime members only and now for every one? Or are there additional shows that are normally not free under prime and now they are free? If the latter, does anyone know how to filter for these? Thanks.
Hi Ms! Yes. It seems there are now select shows available for everyone who has an Amazon account. Those were not previously available for only Prime Members. Hope this helps!
Audible has free children’s books you can stream too!
Yes! LOVE that! Thanks for the reminder! https://hip2save.com/tips/audible-promo-code/
Can someone help me? I downloaded the app but it wants me to agree to be autocharged $9.99/month after a 30-day free trial?
Hey, Jessica, when I logged out of my Prime account and logged in under a non-Prime account, I was able to click “No, Thanks. Browse Videos Instead” under the Start Your Membership Now. After clicking that, I clicked the Kids category on the top menu. On that page, the top few sections all day “Included with Prime”, but if you scroll down a bit, you’ll see lots of sections that say “Free for all”. Those are the shows they are offering for free.
You might need to log out and then log back in to start over from that 1st page.
The entitlement exhibited by some on this post is appalling. There is a worldwide pandemic. 423,867 cases confirmed. 18,877 people deceased. 12,044 in serious condition. This is just the beginning in the US. And some of you are moaning because your shipment will be late. Unbelievable. People are dying horrible deaths, alone, without their loved ones by their side, knowing they will never be able to hug their loved ones again and you’re mad because you can’t get your way. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Wrong post..?
I think this is a great idea to help those of us under shelter in place continue to add some normalcy to our children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Many educational choices. Our schools are giving out free chromebooks and Spectrum offering free internet access to those who cannot otherwise afford. I think it is wonderful Amazon, Hip2Save and others coming together while we practice social distancing .
