Amazing and fun!! I had a lot of fun making the projects in this book and they turned out very well. Don’t be fooled by the 1 ounce of stuffing it comes with, it’s actually quite a lot and I still have about 50% of it left! I love making these little treats and while the instructions aren’t super detailed, the pictures make it easy to understand and follow along.
My 8 year old granddaughter received this as a birthday gift and her 5 year old brother liked it so much he asked for one for his birthday! I think it’s great they’re both learning to sew.
Confession – I bought this for myself. It’s definitely written easily enough for kids to follow along (probably as young as 7-8 depending on maturity) BUT it’s a blast for me. In less than 30 minutes I made a cute sprinkled donut and toaster pastry and had fun. This book is great for a kids activities (thinking birthdays, sleepovers or anything you want to fill time with) and it’s very easy with patterns already cut for you, small pieces ready for assembly.

Got this set on sale at Christmas. Depending on the child, it involved a little more adult oversight than what I expected. My daughter is 7 and very tactile, but she wasn’t quite ready to go independent with it. Cute set, however, and this seems like a good deal!

This isn’t clear about whether this comes with everything you need or if it’s just a book. Is the felt included? Do you have to cut it or anything?
