Great Wolf Lodge Offering $50 Per Night Credit for Guests Who Transfer Canceled Bookings
Great Wolf is encouraging guests to reschedule their travel with resort credits.
Recently, all Great Wolf Lodge resorts extended the temporary closures of their resorts through May 19, 2020.
Additionally, Great Wolf Lodge is offering a $50 nightly credit to guests who missed their scheduled stay due to the extended closure. Guests now have until the day before their original stay to transfer their booking to a later date within the 2020 calendar year to receive a $50 per night resort credit.
To change a qualifying reservation and receive the resort credit, guests should call Great Wolf directly.
Guests wishing to cancel their stay for a full refund don’t need to do anything as all refunds will be processed automatically on the day stays were originally scheduled to begin. If you would prefer to have your refund processed immediately, you can email refund@greatwolf.com with your name, confirmation number, and original stay dates.

That’s nice but my room I got was $150 ($200 with fees) and I can’t find that same room cheaper than $350 (without fees) now. I’ve even looked into October during the week. Kinda disappointing. We should be guaranteed our price when booking again.
when I called they allowed me to pick a date. I reserved during the leap yr special( I had a specific window for mine) and I did not pay any additional fees for changing the date, BUT since I had the leap yr special I was ineligible to get the $50 credit. I’d call them, because you’ll probably be able to just change the date for the same rate.
I also had the Leap Year special. I did not think to ask about the $50 credit, so good to know. I was given a certain time-frame to choose from for new dates because of the special. So hopefully that will be able to happen!
I called them yesterday. I had him check several dates and the prices were all double.
Ya that is very nice but we booked our room on a special. I don’t think I would be able to find the same even with the 50. My husband probably won’t go for it. He is a firefighter with all this going we are going to need a trip when this is all said and done!
I had the leap year special also. You are eligible for the $50 credit BUT they are taking it and using it towards charging you a higher room rate. Pretty ridiculous that they aren’t honoring the price you booked at 🙄
I’ve had my share of difficulty with Great Wolf in the past, they are hardcore with pricing! 🥴Doesn’t surprise me they’re using this credit with higher rates.
If they aren’t open, will I get back the fee that I paid to allow me to cancel? It said it was not refundable when I booked, but surely that isn’t the case when they close! I am not cancelling.
You will get a full refund if they are closed on the day you booked.
I had the leap year promo and was pleasantly surprised that they let me book for the end of May for Thursday to Friday stay for the same price. Glad I called!
I’ve ran into the same problem as others have listed. I was disappointed that they weren’t more helpful in rebooking me for the same price.
