Wondering if anyone has a tip for where to find hand sanitizer? We’re running low on it but haven’t been able to find any online.
I have not personally brought from here . have heard people buying from there
https://artnaturals.com/bath-body/hands/
Be careful ordering from artnaturals . . . A LOT of the reviews said the company sends them COCONUT scented hand sanitizer, but they ordered unscented. Also, the contents often spilled during shipment, so you sometimes get 1/2 product. 🙁
A few local distilleries near me have started producing it for public purchase by the gallon. Maybe you have some near you?
I found some in the grocery store up front on a pallet. In a 1 liter liquor bottle made by a distillery. But I have heard to check with liquor stores too. Mine was $10.
I’m in Kentucky the distillery’s are doing that here but they are sold out.
I am wondering u r still having it☹️ We are run out of it and even the toilet tissues 😢
Check general dollar stores early after senior citizens get to shop.. they get a truck every other day
Costco has TP
Toilet Paper at Office Depot Online –
I bought 12 Large rolls, 2000 ft per roll, 12 rolls in a case. That’s 22,000 feet of linear paper 3.5 inches wide for $43.00 tax included with free delivery. It’s like the 1 foot diameter rolls you see in the hospital. Single ply but softer than the Scott 1000 TP I buy at the grocery store. They have 2-ply, 1/2 cases etc …
Lysol Professional Disinfectant Spray 19 oz. big can $8.80 each.
4 gal bottled water (nice reusable bottle) $13.99 Better than the empty 5 gal water jugs I bought at Amazon.
A week ago they had some hand sanitizer but stock changes daily. I looked 1 day for something and came back the next and they had water.
YMMV
Thanks for the tip! I just went to the site and ordered something similar, 12-roll case of 3.3″ 12 per case, 2 cases! I don’t where I’m going to put this stuff, but it’s a lot better than trying to figure out what you’re going do WITHOUT it! Ordered some gallons of dish liquid as well. I may attempt to try to roll one of these out onto an empty smaller bath tissue roll core, realizing I cant get it to look pretty or even full, but I have no way of suspending this huge roll anywhere in the bathroom in order to use it as it is, but I’ll look online for a stand alone stand for it. THANKS! (PAPER TOWELS WERE OUT OF STOCK FOR DELIVERY AFTER CLICKING ON THEM, EVEN THE ONES THAT DIDN’T SAY OUT OF STOCK, BUT I GOT WHAT I NEEDED!)
I ended up having to make some. Had to order aloe gel online. There’s nothing available around here.
Check the dollar stores
Check bath & body works at 7 AM EST. On most days, there are at least one fragrance of hand sanitizer available. Not the cheapest one and you need to pay shipping but at least you can get some.
Probably cheaper than around here because the only place near me with hand sanitizer is a local pharmacy and it is $20. For one bottle but they are making it themselves. They sold out of all of their regular stock $1.50 bottles two weeks ago.
Bath and Body handsanitizers may not have the necessary alcohol content to kill all germs and viruses, please check the alcohol content prior to purchasing.
Alcohol content on bath & body works hand sanitizer is 68% alcohol, which is greater than the minimum recommended alcohol of 60%.

Check dollar general. Everything is out of stock online but you can see what stores are listed as having it on their web site.If you see some have it get there early in the morning and ask at the counter. It’s probably behind the counter.
Do you have any local distilleries in your area? The ones in our area are making it. Donating it to hospitals by the gallon and selling 8oz bottles to the public
uncle buds hemp hand sanitizer. google it. it’s in stock and arrives within a week
Thank you. Just ordered from them.
Wow just came to check the responses. Thank you all so much! I will check them all out ❤
Ask at the pharmacy in Sam’s , they sell it in small bottles.
FYI, you can order a whole gallon of Chlorhexidine for under $20 on Amazon (generic Hibiclens), which is basically surgical scrub that they use in hospitals. “Unlike other antibacterial soaps on the market, Hibiclens not only begins killing germs immediately, it bonds with the skin and keeps on killing microorganisms for up to 24 hours***, even after washing.” I was really glad that we already had some when all of this started. Highly recommend it.
Hi Heather. I know this is all so confusing. The COVID-19 pathogen is a virus not a bacteria so anti bacterial soaps, cleansers, etc. are not going to help. The virus has a protective ‘shell’ if you will, so the act of scrubbling (hence why it is so important to wash for the full 20 seconds rubbing every surface of lets say, hands) and then rinsing thoroughly is what is effective. If you aren’t in a field of work that deals with this I know it is so hard to know what information is accurate.
I ordered from here. Not cheap but it was all I could find. It took about 2 weeks for me to get my order but it looks like they’re shipping faster now.

You can make your own by using rubbing alcohol, aloe vera gel and an essential oil of your choice
Hand sanitizer recipe
What you’ll need:
3/4 cup of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol (99 percent)
1/4 cup of aloe vera gel (to help keep your hands smooth and to counteract the harshness of alcohol)
10 drops of essential oil, such as lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead
Directions:
Pour all ingredients into a bowl, ideally one with a pouring spout like a glass measuring container.
Mix with a spoon and then beat with a whisk to turn the sanitizer into a gel.
Pour the ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use, and label it “hand sanitizer.”
You can make your own. 2/3 cup of alcohol (at least 75%) 1/3 cup of aloe gel and 10 drops of scented oil. Put in a jar with a screw top lid and shake until we’ll combined. It thickens up after it sets for a while. You can find aloe in the suntan section.
germbloc.com i got my bottle in a week
Germbloc’s main ingredient is Benzalkonium chlorid which the CDC does not recommend if you are using it to kill coronavirus. Hand sanitizers with 60% or more alcohol is what they are recommending. I found out the hard way after purchasing baby organics which is also made of Benzalkonium chlorid. Great to use after changing diapers though.
More people should be going to the CDC website instead of asking each other. I know people get really confused with all the information out there. Maybe we can start getting people to do that. I think there are way too many people confusing this virus with a bacteria and that is just causing them to buy tons of things which are not only not helping but will end up causing a huge problem.
I’ve read lots of good reviews about this one….. https://www.unclebudshemp.com/product/uncle-buds-hemp-hand-sanitizer
I ordered from staples. Free shipping
rite aid is also doing this in their drive thru and i personally hate it because they are already so backed up and busy for prescription pick up. it took an hour and 17 mins in drive thru to get our meds yesterday and unfortunately they were out of stock on one so I have to do it again Tuesday
If you have sams account stalk the website i was able to get 2 hand sanatizer pouches 10.00 each but ive noticed items sell out in seconds you you gotta be on it
I’m also stalking sams website. It takes a few days but items do get back in stock. However like you said, you need to be fast.
They had cases of hand sanitizer, oddly with no limit, at the checkout at Aldi. I restrained myself to two. Also my Dollar General had some in the seasonal/gifts section, geared toward teen girls.
Wow, our Aldi had no hand sanitizer and the whole store had limits on everything. From a limit of 1-4 depending on the item. So like some canned goods were limit 4 like veggies but evaporated milk was limit 2.
Our Aldi has no dish soap, bleach, You get paper, Hand sanitizer, or baby wipes…. The canned goods are limit 2. So I am unable to purchase enough to make a our weekly daily regular meals for a family. I cannot make chili and it’s a staple in our home because I cannot get two to four beans and canned one large canned tomatoes at the same time. Maybe if I made multiple trips but that concept doesn’t make sense…
Rae, can you find dried beans? If so, you don’t need the canned ones. Just soak the dried ones over night, then put them on the stove in a pot of water. Time depends on what kind of beans. Then you can just buy the tomatoes.
We made goulash last night and it was great! less cans than chilli if you need an idea.
Isn’t the limit per TYPE of canned item? So you can get 2 cans of beans, and 2 cans of tomatoes? That’s the way it is, here.
You can’t get alcohol or hand sanitizer anywhere near me in the Poconos in PA.
I’m in Stroudsburg and Shoprite at the mall has hand sanitizer for 3.99 for an 8 oz bottle. Made with at least 60 percent alcohol and made in the US. Check the end cap aisle. My husband said there were at least 200 and it’s still there.
Just a heads up that I tried to do this at my Walgreens in Colorado Springs and was told I need to call and order at least 2 hours in advance.
Thanks for the feedback, Erin!
I work in the pharmacy at Walgreens and we’ve been told to grab whatever (if available and can fit in the drawer) customers ask for. If you need a list of things, we’ll hand you a print out and you can pull around while a front end employee gathers your items.
I love this! It is so much safer for the store staff and the community. The amount of people just meandering around the drug stores buying nail polish and face creams is still out of control..
Checked amazon and purell 8 or something like that pack is selling for 28

Would not let me purchase. They’re prioritized for hospitals and health providers. I understand though, just sucks for some of us that didn’t hoard it.
Would not let me purchase either.
Before we had hand sanitizer we used soap and water. Now we must use antibacterial soap hand sanitizer and all this fancy stuff. Wash your hands with soap and water 20 seconds is better than hand sanitizer. If you are going out carry a cloth with soap and water in a zip lock bag. We can still kill germs this way.
Hi neighbor. You’re right about the hand washing, but the running water and rinsing is just as important as the rubbing when you wash to destroy a virus. This virus is much different than a bacteria so if you’re out, using a hand sanitizer would be safer, but definitely washing your hands when you’re home wins ‘hands down’ (no pun intended) over hand sanitizer. I deal with this subject , so I just wanted to provide a little bit of information in case it might be useful.
Antibacterial soaps are not even recommended. Any soap will do.
According to a medical expert on CNN, you can make your own. 2/3 rubbing alcohol, 1/3 aloe vera gel.
CNN? I just watched a video of them talking about a hospital in NY and it was actually footage from Italy. Also, watched a video of them saying the navy medical ships wouldn’t come to NY and they came within days. Can’t trust them.
The best place for anyone to get information on COVID-19 would be the CDC (center for disease control) website. Maybe we can all start directing people there so there is less false information.
The footage from Italy that was reported as NYC was CBS, not CNN. The navy reports of the USS comfort that said it wouldn’t be ready for weeks (it arrived in 10 days), was on MSNBC, not CNN. Try to steer clear of those stations that constantly try to bash other news channels, because they ALL make errors both in reporting and judgement. My guess is you didn’t watch it on CNN, but one of those stations that like to do the bashing of other stations. Just go to the CDC if you want to know what is happening.
We should all refer to the CDC (center for disease control) website for information on what products are best and work. You have to be very careful with the volume of alcohol if you try to go this route and there are risks to your epidermis (also a lot of the alcohol sold at pharmacies is not strong enough to do this with)
Menards is selling 24 pack Cottonelle TP for 11.99. Limit 2
